20100324457SKELETAL-MUSCULAR POSITION MONITORING DEVICE - A system is disclosed that records position data for portions of a body as a function of time. The position data can be collected from one or more sensors secured to the body either individually or using a patch. The sensors, in some embodiments, can include stretch sensors that produce a change in electrical resistance as the stretch sensors are stretched. A data logger can be used to record the data. Various other elements such as a feedback mechanism or a manual pain indicator can also be included.12-23-2010

20110264902Method and System For Suspending Video Processor and Saving Processor State in SDRAM Utilizing a Core Processor - A method and system are provided in which a multimedia processor comprises a first portion associated with a first of a plurality of power domains and a second portion associated with a second of the plurality of power domains. The first portion and the second portion of the multimedia processor are integrated on a single substrate. Data may be transferred from the first portion to the second portion and, upon completing the transfer, the first portion may be powered down and state information associated with it stored. The state information may be stored in an external SDRAM. The data in the second portion of the multimedia processor may be transferred to an external device through a peripheral module in the second portion. When a trigger event associated with the data transfer to the external device occurs, the first portion may be powered up and rebooted using the stored state information.10-27-2011

20100321852SWITCHING MEANS FOR CONNECTING A LOAD TO A POWER SUPPLY AND ITS METHOD OF OPERATION - A switching device for controlling the supply of power from a supply to a load comprises a solid-state switch arranged in parallel with a relay of normally closed type. The solid-state switch and the relay are arranged in series with the load and the power supply. The switch also comprises a control adapted to connect the power supply to the load by applying an activation signal to the solid-state switch to cause it to conduce, then de-energizing the relay and then removing the activation signal to the solid-state switch in that order. The control is also adapted to disconnect the power supply from the load by applying an activation signal to the solid-state switch to cause it to conduct, then energizing the relay and then removing activation signal to the solid-state switch in that order. A corresponding method of operation is also disclosed.12-23-2010
