20090319783Method of Aggregating Multiple Certificate Authority Services - The disclosure relates to the management of PKI digital certificates, including certificate discovery, installation, verification and replacement for endpoints over an insecure network. A database of certificates may be maintained through discovery, replacement and other activities. Certificate discovery identifies certificates and associated information including network locations, methods of access, applications of use and non-use, and may produce logs and reports. Automated requests to certificate authorities for new certificates, renewals or certificate signing requests may precede the installation of issued certificates to servers using installation scripts directed to a particular application or product, which may provide notification or require approval or intervention. An administrator may be notified of expiring certificates, using a database or scanning or server agents. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.12-24-2009

20100205068Integrated electronic shopping cart system and method - Integrated shopping cart functionality is provided on a first website so that products/services from different affiliated websites can be integrated into the shopping cart at the first website and the e-commerce functionality of the first website can be utilized to purchase the selected products/services. A framework for integrating this functionality enables the first website to integrate with affiliated websites so that an increased number of users may access the first website since the proprietor of the first website may offer various products/services from a multitude of different affiliated websites, for example by providing URL links to the affiliated websites that a user may access in order to select items from the affiliated websites. These items can be integrated into the shopping cart at the first website and purchased with a single transaction. Increased user traffic is expected at the first website since a user's shopping interests can be fulfilled at a single website. Additionally, affiliated websites are benefited by this integrated shopping cart functionality since the e-commerce functionality of the integrated shopping cart is performed by a server that is associated with the first website. Therefore, affiliated websites need not include their own e-commerce functionality. Instead, they may take advantage of the e-commerce functionality of the first website and still receive the benefits of the sale of their offered products/services to the user. Maintenance costs and overhead costs with respect to including an e-commerce software engine are therefore reduced and often eliminated as a result.08-12-2010

20080244507Homogeneous Programming For Heterogeneous Multiprocessor Systems - Systems and methods establish communication and control between various heterogeneous processors in a computing system so that an operating system can run an application across multiple heterogeneous processors. With a single set of development tools, software developers can create applications that will flexibly run on one CPU or on combinations of central, auxiliary, and peripheral processors. In a computing system, application-only processors can be assigned a lean subordinate kernel to manage local resources. An application binary interface (ABI) shim is loaded with application binary images to direct kernel ABI calls to a local subordinate kernel or to the main OS kernel depending on which kernel manifestation is controlling requested resources.10-02-2008

20090265651SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING A TRAVEL ITINERARY - User interface showing timed and sequence events interleaved in a travel itinerary is disclosed herein. According to a preferred method of the present invention, the planning begins with a particular day at a destination. Next, ad hoc activities are created as a list in no particular order. Generic activities are also included in the list. A user will then drag the generic and ad hoc activities (bookmarks) that will themselves become either timed bookmarks or sequenced bookmarks. The timed bookmarks have a particular start and end time while the sequenced bookmarks will not have a definite start and end time. Once the planning is completed, the trip information should be shared with others involved in the current trip, as well as others that will plan subsequent related trips.10-22-2009
