20110087747MANAGEMENT OF CONTACT INFORMATION ON A COMMUNICATION DEVICE - A system and method for the display and selection of contact data for inclusion in an address entry field in a graphical user interface of a communication device is provided. When a character string is input in an address entry field, a selection list such as a drop-down list is presented for selection of a contact having contact information matching the input string. The list is populated from both an address book and a contact data store. The contact data store comprises contact data mined from incoming and outgoing messages at the communication device. The contact data in the contact data store is aged or evaluated for frequency of use. A copy of the contact data store may be maintained in an enterprise system associated with the communication device.04-14-2011

20110264689METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEARCHING MESSAGE DATA IN A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE - A method and apparatus for searching message data in a portable electronic device are provided. A threaded message inbox is provided at a display of the device, the message data grouped as threads. Search criteria are received and a search of an index of the threaded message inbox is initiated using the search criteria, the index comprising key words extracted from the message data. Additional message data is received while the search is being performed, the additional message data belonging to a given thread. Additional message data is searched in addition to the index. Search results are generated based on whether at least one of data from additional message data and data from the index meets the search criteria. Search results are provided in threads at the display. Search results are automatically updated in response to receiving additional message data when the additional message data meets the search criteria.10-27-2011

20090064603VENTING SYSTEM FOR DRYWELL CALIBRATORS - In one aspect of the invention a drywell includes a heated receiver for receiving a temperature probe. The receiver has upper and lower ends and an inner shield positioned around the receiver to define a first air channel extending between the upper and lower ends. A flow plate is positioned above the upper end of the receiver and extends outwardly from the receiver. The flow plate defines a plate opening positioned over the receiver opening and has a lower surface sloping away from the receiver with distance above the receiver. A blower positioned below the lower end of the receiver induces air flow through the air channel. The lower surface of the flow plate directs the air flow away from the temperature probe.03-12-2009
20100037626TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION DEVICE HAVING RECONFIGURABLE HEATING/COOLING MODULES TO PROVIDE WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE - A temperature calibration device uses Peltier cells for heating and cooling. The Peltier cells are connected to a relay that connects the cells to each other in one configuration for heating and a different configuration for cooling. The Peltier cells also receive supply voltages having different magnitudes and polarities for heating and cooling. By changing the manner in which the Peltier cells are connected to each other and using different supply voltages for heating and cooling, the cells are able to operate closer to their specified maximum temperature differential without sacrificing the useful life of the cells.02-18-2010
