20090125249Abbreviated Profile of Drugs (A-POD): A unique numerical and graphical representation for compound properties and its use in ADMET prediction - A novel numerical and graphical representation has been developed to better comprehend the physicochemical, biological and pharmacokinetic properties of drug-like compounds. Abbreviated profile of drug (A-POD) would help in considering and visualizing the various compound characteristics as one entity. The salient features of A-POD are: a unique way of representing the compound properties, computer friendly numerical string representation making comparison of any properties possible, graphical representation that gives a snapshot of properties and their relative changes, and its usefulness in qualitatively predicting the ADMET properties based on chemical properties alone. This simple yet powerful web-based tool is especially useful in comparing any two compounds at one time. A new therapeutic agent can be compared with the reference compound quickly and easily, by checking which properties are affected and finding out whether it possesses better drug-like properties.05-14-2009

20110246702Management Of Configuration Data Using Persistent Memories Requiring Block-Wise Erase Before Rewriting - According to an aspect, the values corresponding to each group of parameters are stored in successive memory locations of a set of blocks, and pointer locations are maintained to point to the area where the groups of values are stored. When a new value is received for a parameter of a group, the values of parameters (with the new value substituted for the corresponding old value) of the group are replicated to a new set of locations in the same set of blocks if sufficient number of successive unwritten memory locations are available. A pointer data from the prior set of locations to the new set of locations is also maintained. According to another aspect, when there is insufficient space for the replication, all the present valid values of all groups are first written to a new set of blocks, and then only the earlier set of blocks are erased.10-06-2011

20090037848USER INTERFACE FOR DISPLAYING AND NAVIGATING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN OBJECTS GRAPHICALLY - Disclosed is a user interface for displaying and navigating relationships between objects. The user interface includes an object relationship map to display a first object at center of the object relationship map and a second object related to the first object adjacent to the first object with a line connecting the second object and the first object. If the second object includes a plurality of objects, the object relationship map displays each of the plurality of objects around the first object. The user interface includes a side bar to display a nature of relationship between the first object and the second object. A relationship-type control in the side bar specifies the object relationship map to display the second object related to the first object with a nature of relationship selected from the relationship-type control. A degree of separation control in the side bar specifies a number of levels of relationship to be displayed in the object relationship map. The object relationship map displays a related-objects value on the second object denoting a number of objects related to the second object.02-05-2009
