20090312807METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR JOINT DISTRACTION - A method of treating a patient's joint having opposing joint surfaces includes providing an elongate member having a proximal end, a distal end and an expandable member near the distal end. The expandable member is positioned in the joint between the joint surfaces and expanded so as to separate the joint surfaces away from one another into a distracted position. The joint is manipulated while in the distracted position so that the joint is distracted and in flexion. A diagnostic or therapeutic procedure is then performed on the joint while maintaining the joint in the flexed and distracted position.12-17-2009
20100125266METHODS AND DEVICES TO TREAT COMPRESSIVE NEUROPATHY AND OTHER DISEASES - Methods, systems and devices for treatment of musculoskeletal tissue may include one or more of stretching, scoring, cutting, and cryogenic cooling of the tissue. Exemplary usage includes the treatment of compressive neuropathy such as in carpal tunnel syndrome and plantar fasciitis. Other musculoskeletal tissues such as those in the hip, shoulder, and other regions of the body may also be treated.05-20-2010
20100292731METHODS AND DEVICES TO TREAT DISEASED OR INJURED MUSCULOSKELETAL TISSUE - A knotless suture anchoring system includes an outer anchor having a central channel and a distal tip adapted to penetrate tissue. An inner anchor is positionable in the central channel of the outer anchor and a locking feature on one or both of the inner and outer anchors retains the inner anchor within the central channel. A continuous length of suture is coupled with the inner and outer suture anchors and has a free end. At least one of the inner and the outer anchors also has a cinching mechanism that allows the suture to be tensioned by passage of the suture through the cinching mechanism in a first direction while movement of the suture through the cinching mechanism in a second direction opposite the first direction is constrained.11-18-2010
20100292732SUTURE ANCHORS WITH ONE-WAY CINCHING MECHANISMS - Various devices, systems and methods for knotless anchoring of sutures to repair bodily tissue are disclosed. These devices allow sutures to be anchored to bone or other tissues, and more specifically provide a suture anchor which eliminates the need for the operator to knot the suture to secure the suture under tension. Thus, damaged tissue may be re-attached to a substrate tissue. The anchors have a minimum of moving parts and find particular utility in hip and shoulder arthroscopy, e.g. labral re-attachment, rotator cuff repair, and similar procedures.11-18-2010
20100292733KNOTLESS SUTURE ANCHOR AND METHODS OF USE - Various devices, systems and methods for knotless suturing of tissue are disclosed. These devices allow sutures to be anchored to bone, and more specifically provide a suture anchor which eliminates the need for knotting the suture. Thus, damaged tissue may be re-attached to a substrate tissue. The anchors have a minimum of moving parts may be suited to being a single molded polymer construction. The anchors will find particular utility in hip and shoulder arthroscopy, e.g. labral re-attachment and similar procedures.11-18-2010
20110017207BRONCHIAL FLOW CONTROL DEVICES WITH MEMBRANE SEAL - Disclosed is a flow control device for a bronchial passageway. The device can includes a valve member that regulates fluid flow through the flow control device, a frame coupled to the valve member, and a membrane attached to the frame. At least a portion of the flow control device forms a seal with the interior wall of the bronchial passageway when the flow control device is implanted in the bronchial passageway. The membrane forms a fluid pathway from the seal into the valve member to direct fluid flowing through the bronchial passageway into the valve member.01-27-2011
20110092767DELIVERY METHODS AND DEVICES FOR IMPLANTABLE BRONCHIAL ISOLATION DEVICES - Disclosed is a sizing device for sizing an inside diameter of a lung passageway. The device includes an elongate shaft configured for positioning in the lung passageway and a sizing element at the distal end of the shaft. The sizing element defines a range of transverse dimensions that correspond to a range of transverse dimensions suitable for use with a predetermined set of bronchial isolation devices. The device is used to determine the suitability of a bronchial isolation device for use in the lung passageway prior to using a separate delivery catheter to deliver the bronchial isolation device into the lung passageway.04-21-2011
20110166579DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MINIMALLY INVASIVE ACCESS INTO A JOINT - Devices and methods are disclosed for providing access to a central compartment of a hip joint. The devices can access the central compartment by distracting all or a portion of the labrum. The labrum can be distracted by advancing a device underneath the bottom edge of the labrum, and using the device to further distract the labrum. Some devices can move underneath the labrum to provide a gap for other devices to access the central compartment.07-07-2011

20100155453Surgical Staples Frangibly Connected to Staple Holding Strip - A surgical tool may include a staple holding strip, and surgical staples frangibly connected to an edge of that staple holding strip.06-24-2010
20110010910BRONCHIAL FLOW CONTROL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE - Disclosed is an assembly for loading a bronchial flow control device into a container, such as into a delivery catheter. The assembly includes a funnel housing and a puller housing that mate with one another. The funnel housing defines a funnel-shaped loading cavity that receives a flow control device and that gradually reduces in size moving in a first direction. The puller housing is removably attached to the funnel housing and is also removably attachable to a bronchial flow control device that can be positioned in the loading cavity. The puller housing pulls the bronchial flow control device in the first direction through the funnel housing to gradually contract the bronchial flow control device into a compressed state of reduced size relative to the expanded size.01-20-2011
20110130834BRONCHIAL FLOW CONTROL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE - Methods and systems for lung volume reduction of a patient are described. The methods include implanting a flow control device in a bronchial passageway of the lung. The flow control device regulates fluid flow through the bronchial passageway and includes a valve protector that at least partially surrounds a valve member. The valve protector has sufficient rigidity to maintain the shape of the valve member against compression.06-02-2011
