20110064231Method and System for Noise Dosimeter with Quick-Check Mode and Earphone Adapter - A noise dosimeter with capability to rapidly predict noise exposure over an extended time period based on a measurement of short duration. Either an acoustic or an electrical earphone adapter provides a convenient means to connect the noise dosimeter to an external sound source. A direct input jack operable to receive at least one audio signal provides a signal to an RMS detector, which provides a DC signal to a two-stage amplifier circuit. The outputs of the amplifiers are provided to a processor having multiple A/D channels. The processor calculates accumulated noise doses and drives a display, which in one embodiment includes a panel of light-emitting diodes. In one embodiment, the dosimeter includes functionality for control of external devices such as sound boards.03-17-2011

20090031735SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING FLUID FLOW THROUGH A FLUID COOLED HEAT EXCHANGER - A vapor compression cooling system having a control unit adapted to receive working fluid pressure or temperature information to control a condenser cooling fluid control valve to minimize flow changes through the valve.02-05-2009
20090056348MOTORIZED BALL VALVE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR FLUID COOLED HEAT EXCHANGER - A vapor compression cooling system having a control unit adapted to receive working fluid pressure or temperature, environment temperature or relative humidity, compressor digital output, or other cooling system information to control a condenser cooling fluid control valve to minimize flow changes through the valve.03-05-2009

20090129913Computer Room Environmental Conditioning Unit with Translatable Blowers - A conditioning unit can allow the blower to be easily translated from a first operable position in the conditioning unit to a second operable position external to the conditioning unit. The translation of the blower does not require the disconnection of the blower and, accordingly, does not require that the blower be disconnected and reconnected to the control system. Such capability can facilitate the installation of the conditioning unit into a variety of applications and allows the purchaser to customize the blower location based on the desired performance. The ability to customize the installation of the conditioning unit without requiring disconnection and reconnection of the blower can reduce the cost and expense associated with the installation into differing applications.05-21-2009

20100252151TECHNIQUES FOR CONTROLLING PRECIPITATE PHASE DOMAIN SIZE IN AN ALLOY - A heat treatment technique may include heating an alloy component to a temperature above a transition temperature of the alloy or heating an alloy component to a temperature below the transition temperature of the alloy. The heat treatment technique further may include cooling a first portion of the alloy component at a first cooling rate, and cooling a second portion of the alloy component at a second cooling rate different than the first rate. The first cooling rate may result in formation of a plurality of first precipitate phase domains comprising a first average size in the first portion, and the second cooling rate may result in formation of a plurality of second precipitate phase domains comprising a second average size in the second portion. The average size of the first precipitate phase domains may be different than the average size of the second precipitate phase domains.10-07-2010
