20100272706 | ANTIVIRALS - This invention provides methods for inhibiting or treating infection by viruses, in particular pox viruses by modulating a kinase, in particular by inhibiting a host cell kinase, involved in mediating viral infection. Methods to identify, validate, and classify the cellular proteins required by viruses during infection of host cells in order to select agents which can inhibit viral infection are described herein. Using a systems biology approach the virus/host cell interaction is studied from initial attachment of the incoming virus to the cell surface, to entry, transcription, replication, biosynthesis, and assembly of progeny particles. The method employs a siRNA screening platform and uses gene silencing to map the ‘viral infectome’—a compilation of cellular proteins that the virus needs to establish infection and drive the infectious cycle. Charting the infectome provides information on the viral biology by the identification of host cell proteins involved in viral infection and allows the development of novel anti-viral drugs that prevent the viruses from establishing productive infection in cells. | 10-28-2010 |

20100221380 | Expandable cavity for injection molding tool - An injection molding tool having a first section moveable with respect to a second section. In a first position, the first section contacts the second section along a parting line and forms a cavity. An expandable cavity part is moveably mounted with respect to the second section. In a closed condition, the expandable cavity part is in a retracted or molding position. The expandable cavity part can be moved away from the molding position or the closed condition to a release position or an expanded condition with allows access to molded part or other article. A core pin is either moveably mounted with respect to the expandable cavity part or is in a fixed position with respect to the expandable cavity part. | 09-02-2010 |
20100323051 | Lock for core assembly for injection molding tool - An injection molding tool having a core assembly with a shaft that is lockably or securedly mounted within a bore of a plate or within another suitable lock element. Rotational or other suitable movement of the lock results in or translates into axial movement of and/or axial forces apply to the core assembly. A guide ring assembly has a center ring with a non-circular bore and a correspondingly shaped core assembly, to prevent rotational movement of the core assembly with respect to the guide ring assembly. | 12-23-2010 |

20130346866 | COPYING AN OBJECT IN AN ANIMATION CREATION APPLICATION - A first input is received in an animation creation application having a user interface showing a virtual-space area for first objects, and a timeline area for second objects representing events. To generate the first input, a user presses and holds an input control while a cursor is over one of the first or second objects. It is determined whether the input control is held for at least a predefined duration. If so, a copy of the object is assigned to the cursor, and the copy is subsequently pasted at another location in the user interface upon the input control ceasing to be held after the cursor is moved to the other location. If the input control does not remain held for at least the predefined duration the copy of the object is not assigned to the cursor. | 12-26-2013 |
