20080283317Protective Housing for a Vehicle Battery - A protective housing for a vehicle battery, and a motor vehicle equipped therewith are provided. The protective housing has two transverse walls and two longitudinal walls, which together form a lateral enclosure for a battery receptacle chamber. A floor structure delimiting the battery receptacle chamber on the bottom is provided, which has at least two floor cross members fastened to the enclosure. A ceiling structure delimiting the battery receptacle chamber on top is provided, which has at least two ceiling cross members fastened to the enclosure.11-20-2008
20080283318Protective Housing for a Vehicle Battery - A protective housing for a battery in a motor vehicle includes two transverse walls and two longitudinal walls, which together form a lateral enclosure for a battery receptacle chamber. The protective housing is fastened to at least one longitudinal girder of the vehicle in the installed state in an installation chamber of the vehicle. The transverse walls and the longitudinal walls are each formed by separate components, which are assembled into the enclosure. The installation chamber is located between two longitudinal girders of the vehicle chamber, and the enclosure is fastened to both longitudinal girders.11-20-2008

20090033384METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING DIGITAL TO TIME CONVERSION - A method and system for managing Digital to Time Conversion (DTC) is provided. The method comprises receiving a first Radio Frequency (RF) signal and a second RF signal. The second RF signal is a phase-shifted first RF signal. The method further comprises converting the first RF signal to a first Intermediate Frequency (IF) signal and the second RF signal to a second IF signal. Further, a time delay between the first IF signal and the second IF signal is estimated based on a time difference measurement technique. The second RF signal is processed based on the estimated time delay to compensate for a delay error associated with the second RF signal.02-05-2009
20090052499SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING COMMUNICATION IN A PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATION NETWORK - A method, system and apparatus for managing communication in a Public Safety Communication Network (PSCN). The PSCN includes a plurality of Mobile Stations (MSs) (02-26-2009
20090054095SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING COMMUNICATION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK - A wireless communication network is provided in which a plurality of radio devices achieve frequency diversity. By utilizing cognitive capability within the radio devices to iteratively select frequency sets, a lowest cardinality frequency set is generated and used to communicate amongst the plurality of radio devices. Each radio device can have different hardware, as the iterative selection of frequency set can take into account the different hardware capabilities of the radio devices.02-26-2009

20080219360SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING CHANNEL ESTIMATION USING INTERPOLATION - A system and method for performing channel estimation. The system includes a receiver for decoding OFDM. Upon receiving an OFDM symbol, a plurality of demodulated subcarrier modulation symbols for the OFDM symbol are generated. The demodulated subcarrier modulation symbols are then decoded to generate decoder output code symbols. At least a portion of the decoder output code symbols are reencoded, interleaved, and mapped to a set of reference symbols, where the set of reference symbols correspond to at least a portion of the plurality of subcarriers. A first set of channel estimates is generated, based on at least a portion of the set of reference symbols and a corresponding portion of the plurality of demodulated symbols. Remaining channel estimates are then interpolated from the first set of estimates by filtering the first set of estimates. The channel estimates are then used in decoding a current OFDM symbol being received by the receiver.09-11-2008
