20090287310DYNAMIC KNEE BALANCER WITH PRESSURE SENSING - A device for performing a surgical procedure on a knee includes an adjustable femoral portion, a tibial portion and at least one sensor coupled with the femoral and/or tibial portions to sense pressure exerted by the femoral and tibial portions against one another. The femoral portion is adapted for removably coupling with a distal end of a femur to adjust tension in soft tissue adjacent the knee and has at least one positioning feature adapted to move relative to the distal end of the femur as the femoral portion is adjusted, thus helping position a femoral prosthetic on the distal end of the femur. The sensor(s) may be adapted to sense pressure at medial and lateral sides of the knee, and relative pressures may be displayed as data on a visual display. Adjustments to the femoral member may be made to balance pressure at flexion and extension of the knee.11-19-2009
20110106091KNEE ARTHROPLASTY APPARATUS AND METHOD - A method for positioning a bone cutting guide on a tibia may involve coupling a cutting guide positioning apparatus with a tibia, adjusting the positioning apparatus in a varus/valgus orientation, adjusting the positioning apparatus in an anterior/posterior orientation, adjusting the positioning apparatus up or down to select a tibial bone resection level, and contacting a cutting guide with the tibia, using the adjusted positioning apparatus.05-05-2011
20110106092BONE POSITIONING DEVICE AND METHOD - A method for positioning a bone cut on a bone may involve: coupling a bone cut positioning apparatus with a body bone; adjusting the positioning apparatus in a varus/valgus orientation relative to the body bone; adjusting the positioning apparatus in an anterior/posterior orientation relative to the body bone; and adjusting the positioning apparatus up or down to select a bone resection level.05-05-2011

20100286937BUILDING ENERGY CONSUMPTION ANALYSIS SYSTEM - An energy analysis system provides valuable input into building energy expenditures. The system assists with obtaining a detailed view of how energy consumption occurs in a building, what steps may be taken to lower the energy footprint, and executing detailed energy consumption analyses. The analyses may include, as examples, a balance point pair analysis to determine either or both of a heating balance point and a cooling balance point, an exception rank analysis to identify specific data (e.g., energy consumption data) in specific time intervals for further review, or other analysis. The system may display the analysis results on a user interface.11-11-2010

20090146845ELECTRONIC TOLL MANAGEMENT - Electronic toll management includes capturing an image of a vehicle triggered by a transaction event representing an interaction between the vehicle and a facility, determining a vehicle identifier based on the captured image, checking whether the vehicle identifier matches a vehicle identifier provided by a party, and notifying the party of an occurrence of a match.06-11-2009
20100228607ELECTRIC TOLL MANAGEMENT - Identifying a vehicle in a toll system includes accessing a set of toll transaction entries. Each entry in the set designates a toll transaction between a vehicle and the toll system and includes a transaction descriptor and a transaction time stamp. A series of toll transaction pictures is accessed. The series includes a plurality of pictures, each of which is associated with a picture time stamp. A toll transaction entry is identified from the set as a violation transaction entry based on the transaction descriptor. A toll transaction picture is selected from the series. The transaction time stamp of the violation transaction is compared, using a processing device, with the picture time stamp of the selected toll transaction picture. The selected toll transaction picture is identified as a violation picture corresponding to the violation transaction entry based on a result of the comparison.09-09-2010

20100233087CYP1B1 NUCLEIC ACIDS AND METHODS OF USE - The present invention provides nucleic acids containing transcriptional units that encode CYP1B1 polypeptides or portions thereof, wherein the transcriptional units lack sequences found in the untranslated region (UTR) of naturally occurring forms of the CYP1B1 transcript. The nucleic acids of the invention lack translational repressor elements and thus provide for a system of enhanced translation of the CYP1B1 polypeptide or portions thereof. Also disclosed are methods of administering nucleic acids to a mammal and use in the treatment of proliferative disorders or cancer.09-16-2010
20110158952COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS-MEDIATED DISEASE - The invention includes methods of treating an HPV-mediated disease by administration to an individual of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a nucleic acid that encodes a polypeptide comprising an epitope of a naturally occurring HPV protein. The methods include the selection of individuals for treatment with the composition according to a the age of the recipient, as well as the use of the composition to elicit a cross-reactive anti-HPV immune response.06-30-2011
