20090217915AIR-EXHAUST MIXING APPARATUS - An apparatus for mixing intake air and exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine includes a chamber having an inlet to supply a stream of intake air, and a second inlet that receives an exhaust gas flow. The second inlet includes a section extending into the chamber of the mixer that has an outer surface that is elongated in cross-section along a longitudinal axis of the chamber in the direction of flow of the flowable media. The mixing apparatus mixes the intake air and exhaust gases without high pressure head loss across the apparatus.09-03-2009

20090320632MARKING SCHEME FOR A GEAR MESHING ARRANGEMENT TO ENSURE PROPER ASSEMBLY THEREOF - A gear meshing system is disclosed. The gear meshing system includes a pair of gears engaged with each other through a first plurality and a second plurality of teeth thereon. Each gear has a mark which is oriented in a predetermined relationship with a timing slot on the gear. Each gear of the pair of gears is identical to the other. Accordingly, by utilizing a marking scheme in accordance with the present invention the same gear part can be used with multiple shafts and thereby assure accurate meshing/timing upon assembly. Accordingly, the need for additional part numbers will be minimized and excessive part proliferation will be avoided.12-31-2009

20100021342METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LIGHTED TEST STRIP - A test strip with a sample chamber is secured to a meter. The sample chamber in the portion of the test strip that extends out of the meter is illuminated by transmitting light from a light source inside the meter internally through the test strip towards the sample chamber. By way of analogy, the test strip acts in a fashion similar to a fiber optic cable or optical wave guide by transmitting the light from the meter to the remotely located sample chamber that extends outside the meter. The user is then able to easily see the sample chamber of the test strip in dark conditions so that the user is able to readily align the sample chamber with the drop of fluid on the skin as well as view the sample chamber in order to ensure proper filling. The light also illuminates a test strip slot into which the test strip is inserted.01-28-2010

20080219763DELINEATOR MOUNTING SYSTEM - Traffic delineators may be surface mounted on either level or sloped surfaces. A delineator mounting system adapted for the surface-mounting of a delineator includes a base having a generally-planar bottom surface, a cavity in the base, a top surface, and walls forming an aperture through the top surface to the cavity. A coupling has legs, with at least one leg being interfitted with the cavity of the base, and at least one other leg extending through the aperture of the base. A delineator is fastened to the leg of the coupling extending through the aperture of the base.09-11-2008
20090183452DELINEATOR MOUNTING SYSTEM - A delineator mounting system has a coupler for mating a delineator having a cylindrical tubular lower end in a mount having square cross-sections.07-23-2009
20100061801CABLE BARRIER DELINEATOR - A cable barrier delineator has a cylindrical mid-section, a flattened top, and a flattened bottom indexed 90 degrees from the top when viewed from the end, and is attached to the flanges of a cable barrier post.03-11-2010
20100172693DELINEATOR MOUNTING SYSTEM - A delineator mounting system has a coupler for mating a delineator having a cylindrical tubular lower end in a curb-like mount having a cavity with square cross-sections.07-08-2010
