20110065153METHOD OF PRODUCING L-LYSINE - The ability and speed with which a coryneform bacterium can produce L-lysine are improved when the coryneform bacterium contains an aspartokinase in which feedback inhibition by L-lysine and L-threonine is substantially desensitized. This is accomplished by successively enhancing the DNA coding for dihydrodipicolinate reductase, the DNA coding for dihydrodipicolinate synthase, the DNA coding for diaminopimelate decarboxylase, and the DNA coding for diaminopimelate dehydrogenase.03-17-2011

20090273816IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, APPARATUS AND PROGRAM - A method for processing an image obtained by reading an original plate on which at least one original is placed includes a determining step of determining whether the image is corresponding to one original or a plurality of originals placed on the original plate, an extracting step of extracting, from the image, one original image component corresponding to the one original or a plurality of original image components corresponding to the plurality of originals, and a processing step of performing image processing on the one or the plurality of extracted original image components, the image processing being different in accordance with the result of the determining step.11-05-2009
20100165417IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM - An image processing apparatus judges whether each of a plurality of image areas included in a platen image, which is obtained by reading a platen on which an original is placed, has a characteristic indicating a table. In a case where at least one of the plurality of image areas has the characteristic indicating a table, the image processing apparatus judges that an original is formed of one original and outputs a rectangular area including the plurality of image areas.07-01-2010
20100231984IMAGE READING METHOD AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS - This invention is made to solve the problem that the conventional method cannot correctly determine whether an original is a halftone. To solve this, a method according to this invention detects, from an original, first and second feature pixels respectively exhibiting first and second features. A first feature pixel to first feature pixel distance and second feature pixel to second feature pixel distance are calculated from neighboring first feature pixels and neighboring second feature pixels, respectively. The average of the first feature pixel to first feature pixel distance and the neighboring second feature pixel to second feature pixel distance is calculated as a feature pixel to feature pixel distance. A histogram is generated by the appearance count of only a feature pixel to feature pixel distance for which the same value successively appears. Whether the read original is a halftone is discriminated based on this histogram.09-16-2010
20100315689IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM RECORDED RECORDING MEDIUM - It is an object to provide an image processing apparatus which can properly obtain an original area even when there is one original or when there are a plurality of originals, an image processing method, and a recording medium in which an image processing program has been recorded. An image processing apparatus for deciding an image data area of an original from read image data obtained by being read by an image reading apparatus has: an extracting unit for extracting a plurality of image areas from the read image data; and a discriminating unit for discriminating whether or not tilt angles of the image areas extracted by the extracting unit are equal. If one or more tile angles of the image areas are not equal as a result of the discrimination by the discriminating unit, it is determined that each of the image areas is an image data area of the original on the assumption that there are a plurality of originals.12-16-2010
20110002015IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM STORAGE MEDIUM - There is provided an image processing method which determines the area of a document from an image read on a transparent platen, the image processing method also determines a single object area or a plurality of object areas from the image on the transparent platen, and when the luminance of the area in which the object area is removed from the image on the transparent platen is detected to determine the document area, the image processing method detects whether or not an image of a shadow exists around the periphery of the object area on the image of the transparent platen, and the threshold value used for determining the document area is different depending on whether a shadow is detected.01-06-2011
20110157639IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM - An image processing system to transmit original image data read by an image reading device to an image processing apparatus. The image reading device reads the original image data, performs a variable-length compression operation on the original image data for each block, and transmits compressed data to the image processing apparatus for each unit quantity. The image processing apparatus acquires the original image data size, obtains the total number of the blocks included in the original image data based on the original image data size, and receives the compressed data. The image processing apparatus additionally performs a decompression operation on the received data, obtains the number of the blocks included in the decompressed image data, and displays a receiving progress state from a relationship between the total number of the blocks included in the original image data and the number of received blocks included in the received data.06-30-2011

20110007855Clock Data Recovery Circuit Capable of Generating Clock Signal Synchronized with Data Signal - A phase comparison circuit detects a phase difference between a data signal and the output from a variable delay circuit. A Code Operator detects a value of a control code corresponding to a delay equal to one period of an output clock. Then, when a delay amount of the variable delay circuit exceeds one period of a clock during synchronization of the output clock with the data signal while the control code is changed in accordance with the detection result by the phase delay circuit, a control code corresponding to a delay equal to one period of the output clock is added or subtracted to/from the control code at a time. Therefore, even if there is a difference in frequency between a data signal and a clock, it becomes possible to synchronize the data signal and the clock with application of the same clock phase.01-13-2011
