20110246285Clickable Terms for Contextual Advertising - An online advertising selects online advertisements for display on a network location taking into account a probability that a candidate online advertisement will receive a click on a particular website. The system may determine a network location identity of the network location and transform a set of advertisements into a set of ranked advertisements. The system may determine an advertisement rank of a first advertisement among the set of ranked advertisements. The system then may generate a click probability value. The click probability value may reflect a click probability of the first advertisement by dividing an exponent of a weighted sum of the network location identity and the advertisement rank by one plus the exponent of the weighted sum of the network location identity and the advertisement rank.10-06-2011

20090150295VALIDATION SERVICE FOR PAYMENT CARDS WITH PRELOADED DYNAMIC CARD VERIFICATION VALUES - QSecure Validation Service (QVS™) is part of the QSecure Suite and includes a CVQ Table Generator (QTG) for use with a QBox™ card personalizer. In general, the QVS/QVM compares dynamic CVQ token data fetched by an issuer authorization host from a transaction then occurring in the field. An array of acceptable CVQ values computed in real-time from the original keys and algorithms used by the QTG and QBox to personalize the particular card are applied in the comparison. There is an order to the CVQ values in such array, and the dynamic CVQ token data will step through these over time. Small deviations in the order actually received can normally occur for reasons other than fraud, so a moving window of acceptance is needed to cope with normal deviations. A running account of which CVQ values have already been used is maintained for, or by, the QVS, and these help predict where the acceptance window should next be positioned in the array of acceptable CVQ values.06-11-2009

20080297408Partial search carrier-phase integer ambiguity resolution - A method for performing integer ambiguity resolution in a global navigation satellite system is disclosed. A set of ambiguities, which are associated with carrier phase measurements of at least some of the signals received from the satellites in an identified set of satellites, are identified. Integer ambiguities are estimated and a best candidate set and a second best candidate set of integer ambiguity values are determined. Upon determining that the best set of integer ambiguity values fail to meet a discrimination test, each ambiguity for which integer ambiguity values in the best candidate set and second best candidate set fail to meet predefined criteria are removed from the set of ambiguities to produce a reduced set of ambiguities. The integer ambiguities in the reduced set of ambiguities are then resolved and an output is generated in accordance with the resolved integer ambiguities.12-04-2008
