20100167735RECOVERY TECHNIQUES IN MOBILE NETWORKS - A technique for protecting location information of a subscriber in a mobile network is disclosed which forwards a registration request from the subscriber to an S-CSCF including the subscriber's TA and then forwarding a location update from the S-CSCF to an HSS including the subscriber's TA. Upon the S-CSCF losing data, lost data may be restored to the S-CSCF from the data stored in the HSS. The HSS may store data in a non-volatile memory such as a hard disk drive. The technique may also include forwarding a registration request from the subscriber to an S-CSCF including the subscriber's TA and then forwarding a location update from the S-CSCF to an HSS and storing data in a non-volatile memory such as a hard disk drive in the S-CSCF so as to be protected against loss. Upon the S-CSCF losing data, lost data including the subscriber's TA may be restored to the S-CSCF from the data stored in the S-CSCF.07-01-2010

20090262657DATA TRANSFER PATH EVALUATION USING FILTERING AND CHANGE DETECTION - If a condition in a data transfer path is modeled appropriately, then a filter-based approach can be used to provide an estimate of the condition. This permits accurate, real-time estimates of the condition with modest requirements for data processing and memory resources. Change detection can be implemented to control a parameter of the filter.10-22-2009

20100166781HAT ACETYLATION PROMOTERS AND USES OF COMPOSITIONS THEREOF IN PROMOTING IMMUNOGENICITY - The invention provides processes and compositions for enhancing the immunogenicity of TAP-1 expression-deficient cells by increasing the presentation of MHC Class I surface molecules for detection by cytotoxic T-lymphocyte cells through increased TAP-1 expression, which comprises administering to the TAP-1 expression-deficient cells a TAP-1 expression increasing amount of a bio-acceptable substance that promotes transcription of TAP-1 gene in the cells to cause enhanced MHC Class I surface expression of the cells. The bio-acceptable substance may be a histone H3 deacetylase inhibitor, such as trichostatin A, a transcriptional co-activator having intrinsic histone acetyl transferase activity or a histone acetyl transferase comprising at least one member of the CBP/p300 protein family. The process and compositions increase the immunogenicity of the target cells to enhance their destruction by cytotoxic lymphocytes.07-01-2010

20100322264METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESSAGE ROUTING TO SERVICES - An approach is provided for message routing to services. A publish request associated with a service is received from a user equipment. A query is generated to determine a plurality of locations of the service. Each location corresponds respectively to a plurality of clusters. Transmission of the query is initiated to a home locator. The locations from the home locator are received. One of the locations is selected. Transmission of the publish request to the selected location is initiated.12-23-2010

20100322236METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESSAGE ROUTING BETWEEN CLUSTERS USING PROXY CHANNELS - An approach is provided for message routing among clusters via a proxy channel. A subscription request is received from a node within a local cluster. The subscription request is for a service. It is determined that the service is provided by a remote cluster. A transmission of the subscription request to a service platform of the remote cluster is initiated. The service is provided to the node via a proxy channel.12-23-2010
20100325260METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESSAGE ROUTING OPTIMIZATION - An approach is provided for optimizing message routing without repeatedly resolving a home location. A login request from a user equipment associated with a resource identifier is received. The user equipment is configured to operate within a network including a plurality of clusters. The resource identifier of the user equipment is modified to include home cluster information indicating a corresponding one of the clusters serving the user equipment.12-23-2010
