20110112873System and Method for Electronically Monitoring, Alerting, and Evaluating Changes in a Health Care Payor Policy - In one or more embodiments, a contract management system provides an alert sub-utility that includes web-based data mining tools to automatically detect changes to a carrier's website and a notification sub-utility for packaging and communicating these changes. These data mining tools parse through XML tags nested within a tree of the carrier's website and determine whether any changes have been made to the web document. These XML tags allow the data mining tool to focus its efforts in extracting particular data of interest. Once the changes of interest have been extracted, the notification sub-utility of one or more embodiments of the present invention creates and communicates an alert to the healthcare provider. The methods and systems of one or more preferred embodiments provide healthcare providers with a more focused and timely alert of changes to a carrier's policy. Further, they provide the health care provider with historical revenue data in combination with the policy change alerts.05-12-2011

20090157765System Restoration Apparatus and Method for Management of Dependencies, Ordering Sensitivities, and Database Index Rebuilds - A method, apparatus, and program product restore database data having dependencies or ordering sensitivities, or that incorporates a database index. Unresolved dependencies are identified in response to an attempt to restore data in a computer. The data restoration is deferred and the data is cached when it has an unresolved dependency. After the dependency is resolved, the data restoration is completed. The unresolved dependency may be based-on data that must be restored or created prior to completing restoration. Deferred data is cached in memory and tracked in a deferred operation table. Data that is deferred may be accessed so long as operations that access the underlying based-on data are denied.06-18-2009

20120083394Exercise Apparatus - An exercise device has a first frame, where the first frame is generally rectangular and has a head end and a first juncture end. A fixed body support is fixed on the first frame and is configured to support a torso of an exercise participant. A second frame has a second juncture end, a foot end and a pair of rail members extending along opposite sides of the second frame, respectively, between the second juncture end and the foot end. A carriage is mounted on the second frame for movement along the rail members along locations confined between the second juncture end and the foot end. Wheels mounted to the carriage facilitate movement of the carriage along the rail members, among other things, prevent the carriage from tilting upwardly as it is driven toward the foot end.04-05-2012

20080232103Flexible LED lighting strips - A flexible lighting strip includes an insulated flexible electrical power cord and spaced apart modules connected therewith. Each module includes a circuit board with a cavity, indentation, or opening and an encasing overmolding defining a fastener-receiving slot or opening aligned with the cavity, indentation, or opening of the circuit board. Power cord conductors are separated at the connection with each module to define a gap receiving a portion of the circuit board. A separate tiedown is secured to the power cord. Conductive elements receiving electrical power from the power cord and delivering electrical power to the circuit board include an insulation-displacing portion and a recess receiving at least a portion of the power cord and including a retaining barb or hook. An adhesive tape or strip is disposed over at least one overmolding opening to prevent water ingress to the circuit board.09-25-2008
20090073693LED LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR A CABINET SIGN - A lighting system generally includes a plurality of electrically interconnected modules. Each module includes a support, circuitry on the support, at least two light emitting diodes (“LEDs”) on the support and electrically connected to the circuitry, and a housing over the support for covering the circuitry. A first LED on a first surface of the support emits light in a first general direction and a second LED mounted on a second surface of the support emits light in a second general direction, which is opposite the first general direction.03-19-2009
