20100111656 | THREE PIECE LIFT ARM APPARATUS AND METHOD - The present invention is a refuse truck lift arm with sections that are bolted, not welded, together. Where the sections are joined together there is a recess and key arrangement. The key is seated in the recess of each half and straddles the inner face that divides them. In this way, shear forces that would otherwise be entirely borne by the bolts are also placed on the key. Each of the three sections, called “weldments,” are welded together in a novel way. The welding placement and sequence reduces welding distortion. Two C-shaped steel pieces are used for each straight section of each weldment. First, interior reinforcing brackets are welded into each C-section. Next, the two C-shaped sections are welded together, with the weld being between the edges that will form the thin side of the arm. | 05-06-2010 |
20140182133 | THREE PIECE LIFT ARM APPARATUS AND METHOD - A method of assembling a weldment for a refuse truck loading arm includes providing a left-handed C-section and a right-handed C-section and at least one buttress, welding a first buttress into a concave end portion of the left-handed or right-handed C-section, welding a first edge of the left-handed C-section to a matching edge of the right-handed C-section, welding another matching edge of the left-handed C-section to a matching edge of the right-handed C-section, the edge welding steps defining a slot between the edges, said slot being at an end portion of said weldment, and welding a joint section into the slot, with the joint section having an inner face, bolt holes and a key recess. | 07-03-2014 |

20120260186 | COMPONENT SPECIFYING AND SELECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD USING INTELLIGENT GRAPHIC TYPE SELECTION INTERFACE - A system generates an output identifying components for a building. Each of the components having one of a plurality of types, and is defined by a plurality of specifications. The system includes a network interface, a computer system memory, and a processing circuit. The network interface receives a selection tool from a network. The computer system memory stores the selection tool. The processing circuit executes the selection tool to: open a multi-window display that includes a schedule window, a product type select window, and a product window. A menu of graphic elements is displayed, each graphic element representative of a product type. A user input selects a graphic element from the menu, and the graphic element then appears in the product type select window. A component database is filtered to identify components having a component type corresponding to the graphic element. A list of those components is displayed. | 10-11-2012 |
20150089380 | COMPONENT SPECIFYING AND SELECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD USING INTELLIGENT GRAPHIC TYPE SELECTION INTERFACE - A method generates an output identifying components for a system, each of the components having one of a plurality of types, each of the components defined by a plurality of specifications. The method includes employing a network interface to receive a selection tool into a computer system memory. The method further includes executing the selection tool on a processing device to: open a multi-window display that includes a schedule window, a product type select window, and a product window; display a menu of a plurality of graphic elements; receive a user input selecting a first graphic element from the menu; update the multi-window display to display the menu of the plurality of graphic elements without the first graphic element and to display the first graphic element in the product type select window; and filter a component database to identify components having a component type corresponding to the first graphic element. | 03-26-2015 |

20100043770 | ROCK CUTTING AND TRIMMING DEVICE - A rock cutting and trimming device comprising a C-clamp, a hydraulic cylinder, a sleeve, a shaft, a top tooth, and a bottom tooth. The hydraulic cylinder is coupled to the shaft, the shaft fits inside of the sleeve, the sleeve is coupled to the top port of the C-clamp, the top tooth is coupled to the shaft, and the bottom tooth is coupled to the bottom port of the C-clamp. Each of the top and bottom teeth comprises a cutting edge, the cutting edge of the top tooth faces the cutting edge of the bottom tooth, the hydraulic cylinder causes the top tooth to move vertically upward and downward, and the cutting edges of the top and bottom teeth are vertically aligned so that when the top tooth is fully extended downward, the cutting edge of the top tooth is parallel to the cutting edge of the bottom tooth. | 02-25-2010 |

20080226666 | Chimeric infectious DNA clones, chimeric porcine circoviruses and uses thereof - The present invention relates to infectious DNA clones, infectious chimeric DNA clones of porcine circovirus (PCV), vaccines and means of protecting pigs against viral infection or postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) caused by PCV2. The new chimeric infectious DNA clone and its derived, avirulent chimeric virus are constructed from the nonpathogenic PCV1 in which the immunogenic ORF gene of the pathogenic PCV2 replaces a gene of the nonpathogenic PCV1, preferably in the same position. The chimeric virus advantageously retains the nonpathogenic phenotype of PCV1 but elicits specific immune responses against the pathogenic PCV2. The invention further embraces the immunogenic polypeptide expression products. In addition, the invention encompasses two mutations in the PCV2 immunogenic capsid gene and protein, and the introduction of the ORF2 mutations in the chimeric clones. | 09-18-2008 |

20110320350 | TRANSACTION PRODUCT WITH A PLURALITY OF CARDS - A transaction product includes a housing and a plurality of cards. The housing defines a storage chamber and a substantially planar exterior surface facing away from the storage chamber. The housing is configured to repeatedly open and close to selectively provide access to the storage chamber and includes a machine-readable account identifier statically secured to the substantially planar exterior surface. The machine-readable account identifier links the transaction product to an account or record remote from the transaction product and having a value available for use as payment toward a purchase. The plurality of cards is arranged in at least one stack. The at least one stack is selectively maintained within the storage chamber of the housing, and each card of the plurality of cards is substantially planar. | 12-29-2011 |
