20090025128 | Disposable sink drain strainer - A disposable drain strainer is removably received within a drain opening having an adjacent drain rim substrate. The strainer has a strainer portion, a ring portion, and a seal release mechanism. Top and bottom surfaces of the ring portion are adapted to sealingly engage the drain rim substrate. The seal release mechanism is integral with the ring portion, and facilitates release of the seal so that the strainer can be readily be removed from the sink and discarded. In one embodiment, the seal release mechanism comprises a tab. In another embodiment, the seal release mechanism comprises a press-release component, wherein the ring portion has arced ring walls having convex and concave configurations. During sealing engagement with the drain rim, the ring portion is in the convex configuration. Pressure applied to the ring portion causes it to move to the concave configuration. The seal between the ring portion and the substrate is released, and the strainer can be readily removed from the drain opening for disposal without having to touch the strainer contents. | 01-29-2009 |
20100213111 | Ultra thin disposable drain strainer - A disposable ultra-thin drain strainer is removably received within a drain opening of a sink, shower or bathtub having an adjacent drain rim substrate. The strainer has a strainer portion, a ring portion, and has a thickness no greater than 0.091 cm (0.036 inch) for disposability. In another embodiment the strainer includes a seal release mechanism. Top and bottom surfaces of the ring portion are adapted to sealingly engage the drain rim substrate. The disposable drain strainer is preferably composed of a biodegradable or environmentally friendly material. The ultra-thin strainer may be composed of a variety of materials, including fiber materials, polymeric materials, starch, sugarcane, or water-insoluble edible film. The strainer is composed of a material soluble in water, and preferably includes a water-insoluble edible film coating. Owing to its thin nature, the disposable drain strainer is appointed to be disposed after use, so that the user does not have to clean the strainer. It is cost efficient to produce and transport. Due to the strainer's environmentally friendly composition, the strainer can be readily discarded without harming the environment. | 08-26-2010 |
20100213140 | Disposable strainers for pop-up and basin drains - A disposable drain strainer for a pop-up and basin drain includes a top opening to accommodate the upward position of the pop-up drain stopper during drainage of the basin/sink or bathtub. The disposable drain strainer has a strainer portion, a ring portion, and at least one adjustable leg. The strainer portion comprises strainer walls abutting a strainer top shelf having a top opening. At least the strainer walls include a plurality of apertures for drainage. The top opening is appointed to engage and receive a pop-up drain stopper when the stopper is in an opened position as during draining. The ring portion fixedly attached to the strainer walls of the strainer portion. At least one adjustable leg is provided arranged adjacent to the top opening and being appointed to engage with the stopper when the stopper is in the opened position. Advantageously, the top opening and adjustable legs engage the pop-up drain stopper when it is opened during drainage so that the strainer optimally provides filtering of debris. | 08-26-2010 |
20130043605 | Natural evaporation humidifier - The present invention provides a natural evaporation humidifier which is space and energy efficient and maximizes humidification efficiency by enhancing diffusion of the moistened air. It is much easy and convenient for users to use, operate and carry the natural evaporation humidifier. The natural evaporation humidifier comprises a container, a plurality of inner support portions, a plurality of tunnels, a plurality of auxiliary support portions, a plurality of evaporation filters, and a plurality of support legs. The container, having a front and back wall, bottom, and side walls, forms an interior compartment and a water reservoir with the inner support portions. The inner support portions are shaped in curve, vertically attached to the bottom of the container, arranged in parallel along the length direction of the container to form a plurality of tunnels and evaporation filter housing areas. The inner support portions have a plurality of spacers inside each tunnel. Bulges are arranged at each end of both sides of the spacers. Evaporation filters are firmly fixed by the bulges and are in contact with water in the water reservoir of the container so that each evaporation filter becomes wetted through capillary action. Both the front and back walls of the container have a plurality of apertures on their upper region above the the maximum water level of the water reservoir to facilitate enhanced diffusion of the moisture air as it exits the humidifier. Aqueduct slots are arranged to the bottom of the container to facilitate the movement of water from one side to other side of the container. | 02-21-2013 |
20140115908 | Wall Frame Marking Tool - A wall frame marking tool comprises a pair of arm members, a pair of sliders, and a pair of retainers. The arm member comprises a base, a slider receiver and a pivot portion. The base is a single elongated flat bar a The slider receiver comprises edge beading, a slider receiver, a plurality of notches, a straight line beading, and a slot. The pivot portion comprises a pivot area having two bumps and a plurality of grooves, a triangular-shaped beading, a straight line beading, and edge beading. The slider comprises a base edge beading, two lips, a straight line beading, and a positioner. The retainer has a bulge, two legs, and two notches. Two arm members are pivotally connected and jointed by overlapping their pivot areas by that two bumps of one arm member are inserted into two of the grooves of the other arm member. | 05-01-2014 |
