20090081246METHOD FOR ISOLATING HEPATITIS C VIRUS PEPTIDES - Described are methods for isolating Hepatitis C Virus peptides (HPs) that have a binding capacity to a MHC/HLA molecule or a complex comprising the HCV-peptide and the MHC/HLA molecule. In one aspect, these methods include providing a pool of HCV-peptide, said pool containing HCV-peptides which bind to said MHC/HLA molecule and HCV-peptides which do not bind to said MHC/HLA molecule, contacting said MHC/HLA molecule with said pool of HCV-peptides whereby a HCV-peptide which has a binding capacity to said MHC/HLA molecule binds to said MHC/HLA molecule and a complex comprising said HCV-peptide and said MHC/HLA molecule is formed, detecting and optionally separating said complex from the HCV-peptide which do not bind to said MHC/HLA molecule and optionally isolating and characterizing the HCV-peptide from said complex. Also described are immunogenic compositions that stimulate a specific T cell response to hepatitis C virus when administered to a subject in an effective amount.03-26-2009

20090321607Three point mounting arrangement for a power system - A mounting system for supporting a power system is disclosed. The mounting system may have a support structure including a first end spaced from a second end of the support structure. The mounting system may further have a first mounting assembly attached near the first end of the support structure. The first mounting assembly may have a first mounting support and a second mounting support for supporting the support structure, each of the first mounting support and the second mounting support attached to the support structure offset to a side of a longitudinal axis. The mounting system may also have a second mounting assembly attached near the second end of the support structure. The second mounting assembly may have a third mounting support attached to the support structure below the longitudinal axis for supporting the support structure. The second mounting assembly may have at least one shock absorber mounted near the third mounting support.12-31-2009

20090245799PROTECTED LIGHT SOURCE FOR MULTIPLE WAVELENGTH DIVISION MULTIPLEXED PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORKS (WDM-PONS) - A protected light source for generating seed light for at least two wavelength division multiplexed passive optical networks (WDM-PONs). The protected light source includes an optical coupler having N≧2 input ports and M≧2 output ports, each output port being optically connected to supply seed light to a respective set of one or more WDM-PONs. A respective multi-wavelength light source (MWLS) is optically coupled to supply seed light to each input port of the optical coupler. A controller unit controls operation of each multi-wavelength light source (MWLS).10-01-2009
20100021164WDM PON RF/VIDEO BROADCAST OVERLAY - A system for overlaying an analog broadcast channel in a Wavelength Division Multiplexed Passive Optical Network (WDM-PON). A remote node of the WDM PON includes a MUX/DEMUX for demultiplexing a Wavelength Division Multiplexed (WDM) signal and supplying respective wavelength channels to each one of a plurality of channel fibers; an optical power splitter for supplying the analog broadcast channel to each one of a plurality of distribution paths; and a respective optocoupler connected to each distribution path, each opticoupler coupling the analog broadcast channel into one of the channel fibers. The analog broadcast channel has a wavelength that is outside a wavelength band of the WDM signal. An Optical Network Terminal (ONT), which is connected to one of the channel fibers, includes a triplexer for separating the analog broadcast channel from at least a downlink wavelength channel of the WDM-PON.01-28-2010
