A cover member is pivotally mounted in a top opening, and is pivotable from a closed position in two different pivoting directions. In a first pivoting direction, the cover has a wall forming a shaker portion to permit shaking material from the interior of the container through shaker openings. In a second position of the cover, a chamber which is formed in the cover permits dispensing a quantity of spice contained in the container. The cover is preferably positioned below an upper level of the top wall to form a recess, and the bottom of the container has a boss that will fit into the recess to permit stable stacking one container on top of the other.10-28-2010
20110006148TENSIONER FOR CONTINUOUS WEB REWIND ROLL - A tensioner for controlling tension in a continuous web being wound onto a rewind roller after the web is processed, for example after printing on labels carried on the web. The tensioner receives the web from a processor and has a slack sensor between the processor and the input of the tensioner. The slack sensor indicates when the slack is a selected minimum, and the web is clamped by the tensioner. After a selected time, which is before the slack sensor indicates a maximum slack is present, the motor driving the rewind roller is stopped and the web is unclamped. After unclamping the web, the rewind roll is again driven at a speed to take up more of the web than that which is driven by the processor, to wrap the web around the core until the slack sensor indicates the slack in the web is at a minimum.01-13-2011

The images are also arranged in longitudinal columns along the length of the web. A cutting station carries a plurality of cutter heads to cut out the plurality of labels forming each row or rank simultaneously. The web, with the label peripheries cut out, may be slit longitudinally and formed into finished rolls of labels.03-17-2011

20090165394METHOD OF MAKING ABRASIVE SHARDS, SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH AN OPENING, OR DISH-SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES - By controlling the process parameters and by using a polymeric production tooling having a plurality of mold cavities, different types of shaped abrasive particles selected from the group consisting of abrasive shards, dish-shaped abrasive particles, and shaped abrasive particles with an opening can be produced from the exact same mold. In one embodiment, the mold comprised a plurality of equilateral triangles and fractured precursor abrasive particles, dish-shaped precursor abrasive particles, or precursor shaped abrasive particles with an opening were produced from the same mold.07-02-2009
20090169816SHAPED, FRACTURED ABRASIVE PARTICLE, ABRASIVE ARTICLE USING SAME AND METHOD OF MAKING - Precursor alpha alumina abrasive particles in a mold are subjected to a drying process that cracks or fractures at least a majority of the precursor abrasive particles into at least two pieces thereby producing abrasive shards having a smaller size than the mold cavity from which they were made. The smaller abrasive shards, once formed, could be reassembled like jigsaw puzzle pieces to reproduce the original cavity shape of the mold from which they were made. The cracking or fracturing of the precursor abrasive particles is believed to occur by ensuring that the surface tension of the abrasive dispersion to the walls of the mold is greater than the internal attractive forces of the abrasive dispersion as the abrasive dispersion is dried within the mold cavity.07-02-2009
20100146867SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH GROOVES - Abrasive particles comprising shaped abrasive particles each having a sidewall, each of the shaped abrasive particles comprising alpha alumina and having a first face and a second face separated by a sidewall and having a maximum thickness, T; and the shaped abrasive particles further comprising a plurality of grooves on the second face.06-17-2010
20100151195DISH-SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH A RECESSED SURFACE - Abrasive particles comprising dish-shaped abrasive particles each having a sidewall; each of the shaped abrasive particles comprising alpha alumina and having a first face and a second face separated by a thickness, t; and wherein either the first face or the second face is recessed or concave.06-17-2010
20100151196SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH A SLOPING SIDEWALL - Abrasive particles comprising shaped abrasive particles each having a sloping sidewall, each of the shaped abrasive particles comprising alpha alumina and having a first face and a second face separated by a thickness, t. The shaped abrasive particles further comprising either: a draft angle α between the second face and the sloping sidewall, and the draft angle α is between about 95 degrees to about 130 degrees, or the sloping sidewall having a radius, R, between the first face and the second face and the radius, R, is between about 0.5 to about 2 times the thickness, t.06-17-2010
20100151201SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH AN OPENING - An abrasive comprising shaped abrasive particles each with an opening. The shaped abrasive particles are formed from alpha alumina and have a first face and a second face separated by a thickness t. The opening in each of the shaped abrasive particles can improve grinding performance by reducing the size of a resulting wear flat, can provide a reservoir for grinding aid, and can improve adhesion to a backing in a coated abrasive article.06-17-2010
20110053460STRUCTURED ABRASIVE ARTICLE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME - A structured abrasive article comprises a backing, and an abrasive layer disposed on and secured to the backing. The abrasive layer comprises shaped abrasive composites, each comprising abrasive particles dispersed in a binder. Each the shaped abrasive composites independently comprises: a base disposed on the backing; a plurality of walls extending away from the base, and a grinding surface not contacting the base. Adjacent walls share a common edge. Each wall independently forms a dihedral angle with the base of less than or equal to 90 degrees. The grinding surface has a plurality of: cusps, and facets that contact a recessed feature. At least a portion of the recessed feature is disposed closer to the base than each of the cusps. Each cusp is formed by an intersection of two of the walls and at least one of the facets. Use of the structured abrasive article to abrade a workpiece is also disclosed03-03-2011

20080253696POUCH ARRANGEMENT FOR DISTRIBUTING MATERIAL AND METHODS - A pouch arrangement includes a distribution aperture arrangement in a gusset member. The gusset member is covered with a removable cover. A zipper closure selectively exposes and closes the gusset member. At an opposite end, a handle arrangement is provided. The pouch construction may be filled with a flowable material through an opening adjacent to the handle arrangement with the zipper unengaged and the gusset expanded and covered by the removable cover. A seal can be applied between the handle arrangement and the gusset to close the opening. The filled pouch is then displayable by resting it on the expanded gusset, with the zipper closure unengaged and the distribution aperture arrangement covered by the removable cover. In use, the removable cover is removed to expose the distribution aperture arrangement. Flowable material is allowed to pass through the distribution aperture arrangement in the gusset. After use, the gusset end of the pouch is closed by engaging the zipper closure.10-16-2008
