20080270099CLOCK CONTROL MODULE SIMULATOR AND METHOD THEREOF - A method for simulating an integrated circuit having a plurality of clock control modules includes simulating the integrated circuit, and automatically receiving from each clock control model during simulation an indication of a simulated power state of the clock control model. Accordingly, the simulated power state of the portion of the integrated circuit model to be clocked by a clock control model can be monitored based on the indicator from the clock control model, rather than on a higher level analysis of the simulated input/output behavior of the integrated circuit model.10-30-2008

20110225917Decorative architectural element and method for making - A method for making a decorative architectural element is disclosed, which includes the steps of designing a vacuum form mold forming a three dimensional decorative shape for the architectural element, cut a moldable plastic sheet in a size and shape to fit over the vacuum form mold, designing a color graphic, print the color graphic onto a vinyl wrap which corresponds in size and shape to fit over the vacuum form mold covered with the plastic sheet, vacuum forming the plastic sheet over the vacuum form mold and the vinyl wrap over the plastic sheet. The plastic sheet takes the shape of the vacuum form mold and the vinyl wrap adheres to the molded plastic sheet. The molded plastic sheet and the attached molded vinyl wrap are then removed from the vacuum mold. One arrangement includes the step of affixing the molded plastic sheet with the attached molded vinyl wrap to the architectural element. The molded vinyl wrap faces away from the architectural element, so that the color graphic printed on the vinyl wrap is visible. A decorative architectural element includes a basic architectural element, a molded plastic sheet fitting over the basic architectural element giving the architectural element a decorative shape, and a molded vinyl wrap molded over the molded plastic and facing away from the basic architectural element. The molded vinyl wrap is printed with a color graphic.09-22-2011

20100268254Clamp System and Method of Using the Same - A system for deploying clamps and methods of using the same are disclosed. The system can be configured to be inserted through a percutaneous trocar with a releasably attached clamp in a closed configuration. The system can be configured to then open the clamp and position the clamp around a target vessel. The system can be configured to then close the clamp over the vessel, squeezing the vessel to partially or completely close an internal lumen in the vessel. The clamp can be detached from the remainder of the deployment system and left on the vessel, or the clamp can be opened and removed.10-21-2010

20100174754GENERIC ONTOLOGY BASED SEMANTIC BUSINESS POLICY ENGINE - Techniques for implementing policies. In an embodiment, first data is stored in a first data store according to a first schema. A second schema is defined based at least in part on a policy and an ontology. Second data, which includes at least a portion of the first data, is stored in a second data store according to the second schema. Storing the second data is based at least in part on a mapping of the first schema to the second schema. At least a portion of the second data is analyzed and results of the analysis are provided to a user.07-08-2010
20100218134TECHNIQUES FOR SEMANTIC BUSINESS POLICY COMPOSITION - Embodiments of the present invention relate to techniques for creating policies. A plurality of objects representative of semantic objects are provided to a user. An arrangement of a subset of the objects, the arrangement representative of a policy, is received. The arrangement is converted to instructions for implementation by an application configured to implement policies. One or more of the objects may include fields and/or controls for specifying criteria of semantic objects represented by the objects.08-26-2010
20110087629TECHNIQUES FOR PROCESSING ONTOLOGIES - Techniques for processing ontologies include a computer-implemented method of processing an ontology. The method includes storing data in an ontology and partitioning the ontology into a plurality of partitions. The partitions are distributed among a plurality of reasoner instances. The reasoner instances are directed to reason the partitions and the results from the reasoner instances are combined. If data is changed, an inference library resulting from the combined results may be updated by updating only those portions of the inference library affected by the changed data.04-14-2011
20110093430MASSIVELY SCALABLE REASONING ARCHITECTURE - Techniques for reasoning data are disclosed. The techniques may include storing data in a data store which may be a semantic data store. A plurality of reasoning modules are used to reason the data in order to detect violations of one or more business policies. The reasoning modules may include semantic reasoning modules and/or pattern-based reasoning modules. Results of reasoning the data may be displayed to one or more users.04-21-2011
20110093469TECHNIQUES FOR EXTRACTING SEMANTIC DATA STORES - Techniques for enforcing policies. A set of data is stored in one or more data stores. A plurality of semantic concepts for an ontology are defined and a map is constructed from the set of data to the concepts. The map is executed in order to transform data from the set of data to a second set of data. The second set of data is stored according to the ontology. The second set of data is reasoned in order to determine compliance with one or more policies.04-21-2011
