20090082826 | AUTOMATIC SIGNAL AMPLITUDE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM IN THE SETTING OF ABNORMAL RHYTHMS - A system for automatically evaluating the sensing and detection of physiological processes by an implantable medical device, such as an implantable cardiac stimulation device. The system includes an automatic testing algorithm which iteratively adjusts at least one of the threshold and gain settings of the device and evaluates the accuracy of the detection for refining the programming of the device. The algorithm can include sampling the physiological process beginning at a relatively low rate to avoid excessive burden on the processing and battery capacity available and progressively increasing the rate to obtain higher resolution data. The algorithm can also evaluate the observed physiological process for periodicity and can determine repetition of an irregular pattern, such as bigeminy, and use the determined pattern for predictive purposes to refine the programming of the device. The algorithm employs observation of a change in observed pattern as indicia for loss of proper detection. | 03-26-2009 |

20120299225 | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BLOW-MOLDING CONTAINERS - The invention relates to a method and device used to blow-mold containers. After thermal conditioning, a preform is shaped into the container inside a blow mold by the effect of blowing pressure. Required blowing gas is introduced into an interior of the preform through a connecting element. After the blow-molding, a purging gas is conducted through the interior of the container. A plurality of blowing stations are used, and, for at least one of the blowing stations, at least part of the required amount of the purging gas is stored in a storage volume associated only with said blowing station. | 11-29-2012 |

20110043432 | MICROWAVE ANTENNA FOR WIRELESS NETWORKING OF DEVICES IN AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY - A microwave antenna for wireless interconnection of automation devices has a first printed circuit board, on which a first conductor loop is arranged as a printed conductor track. A second printed circuit board having a second conductor loop in the form of a printed conductor track is arranged transversely with respect to the first printed circuit board. The second printed circuit board is attached to the first printed circuit board. The conductor loops are connected to a common feed connection. A bypass line connects one end of each the first and the second conductor loops. | 02-24-2011 |
20110045857 | METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA BETWEEN A CONTROL UNIT AND A PLURALITY OF REMOTE I/O UNITS OF AN AUTOMATED INSTALLATION - A control unit sends a plurality of request messages to the I/O units. The I/O units send a plurality of response messages to the control unit. The request messages and response messages are sent using radio-frequency signals. The I/O units expect to receive a request message within defined first time intervals, and the control unit expects to receive at least one response message within defined second time intervals. The control unit and the I/O units maintain a selected transmission frequency for as long as the request messages and response messages are received within the defined time intervals. The control unit and the I/O units change the transmission frequencies according to a defined pattern if no expected message is received within the defined time intervals. | 02-24-2011 |
20110050402 | ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR WIRELESSLY NETWORKING DEVICES OF AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY - An arrangement for wirelessly interconnecting devices of automation technology comprises a signal path for transmitting a high-frequency transmit signal which has a plurality of temporally successive signal packets. The arrangement has a first and a second antenna and an antenna switch which connects the signal path selectively to the first or to the second antenna. A control circuit is adapted to generate a low-frequency switching signal for the antenna switch from the successive signal packets. | 03-03-2011 |

20130033412 | ARRANGEMENT FOR WIRELESSLY NETWORKING DEVICES IN AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY - An arrangement for wirelessly networking sensors, actuators and at least one shared control unit in automation technology, has a first connection point for receiving an RF transmit signal from an RF transmitter and for providing an RF receive signal from an antenna. The arrangement has a second connection point, which leads to the antenna, and a signal coupler, arranged between the first connection point and the second connection point. The signal coupler transmits the RF transmit signal from the first connection point to the antenna, and transmits the RF receive signal from the antenna to the first connection point. The signal coupler has a variable coupling attenuation with a low first attenuation factor and at least one higher second attenuation factor. The signal coupler transmits the RF receive signal using the low first attenuation factor and transmits the RF transmit signal using the higher second attenuation factor. | 02-07-2013 |
20130166799 | METHOD FOR ALLOCATING SUBSCRIBER ADDRESSES TO BUS SUBSCRIBERS OF A BUS-BASED CONTROL SYSTEM - A bus-based control system comprises a plurality of bus subscribers which are connected to one another by means of a communication medium. The bus subscribers are assigned logical subscriber addresses. Next, the assigned subscriber addresses are verified. For this purpose, the bus subscribers use a defined mathematical operation to calculate a common first check value which is compared with a second check value. The mathematical operation begins with a defined starting value and comprises a number of operation steps which use a number of defined operands. Each of the subscriber addresses to be verified forms a different operand, and each bus subscriber executes at least one operation step. | 06-27-2013 |
20140156029 | MODULAR CONTROL APPARATUS - A control apparatus has at least one module including first, second and third module parts. The first and second module parts can be mechanically and electrically combined to form a first combined arrangement. The first and third module parts can be mechanically and electrically combined to form a second combined arrangement. The first module part comprises a securing element with an engagement section moveable between a first position, wherein the first and second module part are secured together, and a second position wherein the first and second module parts can be detached from one another. The securing element includes an actuation section. In the first position, the actuation section is located in a first spatial region and, in the second position, is located in a second spatial region. The third module part has a blocking section, which, in the second combined arrangement, occupies at least partially the second spatial region. | 06-05-2014 |
