20100330202PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AQUEOUS CHLOROUS ACID SOLUTION FOR USE AS DISINFECTANT - A process for producing aqueous chlorous acid solution in which chlorous acid, which is safe for the human body, is easy to handle, and less generates chlorine dioxide, is yielded and used as a disinfectant for a pretreatment in food processing. To an aqueous sodium chlorate solution is added sulfuric acid or an aqueous solution thereof in such an amount and concentration that the pH of the aqueous solution can be kept at 2.3-3.4 to thereby react them and generate chloric acid. Subsequently, hydrogen peroxide is added to the chloric acid in an amount which is equal to or larger than the amount necessary for a reduction reaction to thereby yield chlorous acid. Any one of inorganic acids, inorganic acid salts, organic acids, and organic acid salts, or two or more thereof, or a combination or these is added to the aqueous solution containing chlorous acid yielded, whereby the chlorous and acid can be present for long and the pH of the aqueous solution is regulated to regulated to 3.2-7.0. Thus, high bactericidal power is imparted thereto.12-30-2010

20090274957BATTERY CAN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING BATTERY CAN - A bottomed cylindrical battery can of the present invention includes a bottom wall and a side wall each having a predetermined thickness and being uniform in thickness. Alternatively, the bottomed cylindrical battery can of the present invention includes a side wall having a predetermined thickness and being uniform in thickness therethroughout and a bottom wall having a bottom wall thickness increasing from the periphery to the center thereof. By thus configuring, it is possible to reduce the weight of the battery can without sacrificing the rigidity of the battery can, while achieving a reduction in the amount of material used.11-05-2009

20100183911BATTERY CAN, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE THEREFOR, AND BATTERY USING THE SAME - A battery case is made by cutting from a blank case of a bottomed cylindrical battery case having an unwanted portion at an opening portion the unwanted portion from the case wall in the circumferential direction by a blade. The cutting of the case wall is performed so as to render a cutting-end portion higher than a cutting-start portion. Thus, re-cutting of the cutting-start portion by the blade after it has already completed one rotation can be avoided. As a result, the generation of thread-like chips from re-cutting of the cut surface can be avoided.07-22-2010
20100258975METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING BATTERY PACK - A tensile stress is applied to solidified resin. The tensile stress is so small that the solidified resin formed in the sprue by solidification of molding material does not break and is so large that the solidified resin formed in the sprue is separated from the inner surface of the sprue due to a reduction in the diameter of the cross sectional area thereof. For the application of such a tensile stress, the runner stripper plate holding the solidified resin is moved away from the nozzle and sprue bushing. This state is maintained for a predetermined time to separate the solidified resin from the inner surface of the sprue.10-14-2010
