20110109159Active Low-Pass Current Filter - An active low-pass current filter apparatus and method reduces conducted emissions above a predefined cutoff frequency at high power levels. The apparatus and method use a bidirectional DC-DC converter to minimize current fluctuations on a power lead that may result in conducted emissions above the predefined cutoff frequency. The bidirectional DC-DC converter absorbs current from the power lead and feeds current to the load lead as needed to compensate for the current fluctuations on the power lead. Power to the DC-DC converter is provided by a separate auxiliary power source. A monitoring circuit compares the voltage level of the auxiliary power source to a reference voltage and compensates for variations in the voltage level of the auxiliary power source without interfering with the suppression of the conducted emissions.05-12-2011

20110010501EFFICIENT DATA PREFETCHING IN THE PRESENCE OF LOAD HITS - A BIU prioritizes L1 requests above L2 requests. The L2 generates a first request to the BIU and detects the generation of a snoop request and L1 request to the same cache line. The L2 determines whether a bus transaction to fulfill the first request may be retried and, if so, generates a miss, and otherwise generates a hit. Alternatively, the L2 detects the L1 generated a request to the L2 for the same line and responsively requests the BIU to refrain from performing a transaction on the bus to fulfill the first request if the BIU has not yet been granted the bus. Alternatively, a prefetch cache and the L2 allow the same line to be simultaneously present. If an L1 request hits in both the L2 and in the prefetch cache, the prefetch cache invalidates its copy of the line and the L2 provides the line to the L1.01-13-2011

20100299590Method and system for processing xml-type telecommunications documents - Techniques for use in telecommunications products and services for processing XML-type (e.g., CCXML or VXML) documents in association with the operation of a telecommunications network include parsing a XML-type document a single time for all instruction execution relating to the XML-type document for generating an XML-type reference document. Compiling the XML reference document occurs next for generating a XML-type binary reference file comprising a plurality of binary data sets derived from the XML-type reference document. Then, the method and system convert the XML-type binary reference file to an object tree for use of the contents of the XML-type binary reference file at essentially execution speeds. The method and system provide for storing data in a cache memory, the data relating to the XML-type binary reference file at a point essentially approximating the execution point of the data in the processing of the XML-type document. Furthermore, the method and system execute instructions for the processing of the XML-type document using the data and the XML-type binary reference file.11-25-2010
