20090241290Over-Center Mechanism - An over-center mechanism includes a pivoting member, rotatable about a pivot point between first and second positions, a drive gear, having a first radius, fixedly attached to the pivoting member at the pivot point, a pinion gear, engaged with the drive gear, having a second radius, and an over-center tension spring, eccentrically attached between the drive gear and the pinion gear, to bias the pivoting member toward the first and second positions.10-01-2009
20090283960SHEET FEEDER - A sheet feeder has a tray for receiving one or more media sheets. An arm is configured to pivot relative to the tray. A roller is rotatably coupled to the arm. A biasing device is coupled to the arm. The biasing device biases the arm to pivot toward the tray.11-19-2009
20100038847TRANSMISSION FOR AN AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER - An automatic document feeder transmission includes a single electric motor mounted on a chassis. Motor actuates a power input gear that is rotatably mounted on the chassis and has gear teeth. A swing arm, rotatably mounted to the chassis, pivots about a swing arm pivot axis through an arc of travel. Arm has central and distal ends, the latter having gear teeth formed therein. Driving and driven pinions, each having mutually intermeshing gear teeth, are rotatably mounted to the arm. Driven pinion gear teeth also intermesh with power input gear teeth. A paper stop is rotatably mounted on the chassis. A catch, disposed on the arm, is selectively engageable with a wire spring disposed adjacent portion(s) of the travel arc, wherein arm rotation is selectively stopped in one direction and allowed in an opposite direction. Arm selectively switches between three discreet feeder modes and selectively actuates the paper stop.02-18-2010

20080264273SNIPPER KNIFE STEM - A snipping apparatus includes a frame having an inlet end and an outlet end, a rotatable drum mounted in the frame, and a plurality of mounting rods fixed relative to the frame. The mounting rods extend between the inlet end and the outlet end and are aligned generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the drum. The snipping apparatus also includes a plurality of resilient rods, each resilient rod having a first end, a second end and a curved portion positioned between the first end and the second end, and a plurality of snipper knives, such that each of the knives is coupled to a free end of one of the resilient rods.10-30-2008
20100014925TRANSFER MECHANISM FOR USE WITH A FOOD PROCESSING SYSTEM - A transfer mechanism for transferring food product from a compartment of a food processing system includes a conduit having a first end portion configured to be in communication with the compartment and a second end portion, a fluid discharge positioned substantially within the conduit between the first end portion and the second end portion, and a pressurized fluid source in communication with the fluid discharge. The pressurized fluid source is operable to propel a fluid through the fluid discharge to move the food product from the first end portion of the conduit toward the second end portion.01-21-2010
