20100302163DATA ENTRY SYSTEM - A computerized device comprising a first input interface adapted to identify a plurality of different first user input signals; a second input interface adapted to identify a plurality of second user input signals, and a processor configured to ambiguously correspond to each of at least one of the first input signals with the first plurality of symbols, and to ambiguously correspond actuation of each of at least one of the second input signals with a second plurality of symbols. The processor associates each of the second plurality of symbols with one of the first input signals in a manner that the second plurality of symbols corresponds to a plurality of first input signals.12-02-2010
20110141027DATA ENTRY SYSTEM - A data entry system including a plurality of first keys, a plurality of second keys, a display and a processor adapted to interpret a first type of user interaction with the first keys as entrance of one or more characters and to interpret a second type of interaction with the first keys as mode signals which change the meanings of at least three of the second keys.06-16-2011

20090037623INTEGRATED KEYPAD SYSTEM - A data entry system using a number of different input signals provided by interacting with input means such as keys wherein to at least some of the different input signals a number of symbols including substantially all of the letters of the alphabet of one language are distributively assigned such that at least two of the letters are ambiguously assigned to at least one of the some input signals. The data entry system includes a database of words and uses a word predictive system such that in order to enter a word of the database the user provides a first input information consisting of providing the input signals corresponding to the characters, generally the letters, of the word, and an additional input information corresponding to at least one of the characters of the word and its corresponding input signal provided through the first input information, and wherein the system precisely recognizes the character among the ambiguous characters assigned to the input signal and provides a word of the dictionary that corresponds to the first and the additional input information.02-05-2009
20090199092DATA ENTRY SYSTEM - A data entry system includes a plurality of keys each of which has two or more symbols associated with each key and a means for receiving a second specific input from a user. A third correction key is provided, where a user enters a desired input by pressing one or more of the plurality of keys corresponding to the symbols required for the desired input and further provides a second specific input also relating to at least a portion of the desired input, such that the system produces a response to the desired input by predicting the desired input based on the symbols pressed by the user and based on the second specific input. If the produced response is different than the desired input, the user may press the correction key to scroll through additional less frequent responses from the system also matching the symbols pressed and the second specific input.08-06-2009

20090146848SYSTEMS TO ENHANCE DATA ENTRY IN MOBILE AND FIXED ENVIRONMENT - A data entry system is provided using a virtual dynamic keypad having at least four keys, wherein to four of the keys at least substantially all of the letters of a language are distributively assigned and wherein the locations of the four letter keys relating to each other are dynamically defined during the entry of text. A text entry system is also provided using a virtual keypad having at least four keys wherein to four of its keys at least substantially all of the letters of a language are distributively assigned and wherein the locations of the four letter keys relating to each other are dynamically defined based on a calibrating procedure provided by the user. A data entry system is provided using a pointing device providing different pointing directions wherein each of the pointing directions duplicates a key of a predefined virtual keypad model wherein to at least some of its keys substantially all of the letters of a language are distributively assigned.06-11-2009

20100245252Information input keyboard and keyboard locator associated therewith - A processing (e.g. telecommunication) device is herein proposed. The device comprises a display, and a keyboard peripherally extending around at least a portion of display. Preferably, the keyboard is alphanumerical and extends around at least a portion the display's perimeter. The alphanumerical keyboard preferably has a predetermined keyboard set of keys, and the device further comprises a keyboard locator unit having a locator set of keys corresponding to the predetermined keyboard set of keys. The keys of the locator set of keys are disposed in a manner to indicate the locations of the keys of the predetermined keyboard set of keys. The device may comprise a microphone and a speaker located on opposite sides thereof, the display extends therebetween, the keyboard extends around at least a portion of the display's sides. The keyboard and the locator unit can be represented as a mechanical unit, or an image on the display.09-30-2010
