20100211566ENTITY-BASED SEARCH RESULTS AND CLUSTERS ON MAPS - Techniques are described for providing geographically-related search results in map interfaces that are derived with an understanding of the intent behind the user's query, and the abstract entities to which the query maps.08-19-2010
20100211909BEST FIT MAP SEARCHING - A search engine computer system is configured to produce an optimized display of maps especially useful in mobile handheld devices with comparatively small screens. The system factors in scoring functions, visibility, and empirical data on map levels to provide optimal map based results to users. This minimizes or avoids graphical results that overlap each other.08-19-2010

20080231112MULTI-FUNCTIONAL LRM PERFORMING SSPC AND ELCU FUNCTIONS - On an aircraft, primary power distribution control and secondary power distribution control may be performed with a single line replaceable module (LRM) having an integrated architecture. The LRM may be provided with trip engines that are based on digital signal processors (DSP's). The DSP's may be programmed to allow the trip engines to perform either ELCU functions or SSPC functions. Use of the single LRM precludes a need for complex circuitry that might otherwise be required to coordinate prior-art independent ELCU and SSPC controls.09-25-2008
20080234838INTEGRATED ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM USING COMMON BUILDING BLOCKS - An electrical power distribution system includes a data bus, separate from the main aircraft data bus, internal to the aircraft electrical power distribution system and an electric power control unit (EPCU) in communication with the internal data bus. Primary and emergency power distribution subsystems include line replaceable modules (LRM) connected in the aircraft electrical power distribution system as electrical load control units (ELCU), each having a common supervisory control interface in communication with the internal data bus, while a secondary power distribution subsystem includes LRMs connected in the aircraft electrical power distribution system as solid state power control (SSPC) units, each having the common supervisory control interface in communication with the internal data bus. The common supervisory control interfaces all execute a common supervisory control logic for receiving commutation commands from the EPCU and providing status back to the EPCU.09-25-2008
20080234879GROUND FAULT INTERRUPTION USING DSP BASED SSPC MODULE - A ground fault interruption (GFI) system is incorporated onto a DSP based LRM of an aerospace vehicle. The GFI system operates with digital controls and, unlike the prior art, the system does not employ current transformers. Synchronization pulses are employed to coordinate instantaneous current measurement samplings in each phase of a multi-phase power system. Coordinated sampling may reduce phase angle current differential errors and improve operational precision of the GFI system.09-25-2008

20100287622System and Method for Preventing Proper Execution of an Application Program in an Unauthorized Processor - A system and method for preventing an application program, which is licensed to a customer to be exclusively executed in a processor based on a certain processor design, from being executed properly in unauthorized processors is provided. The system includes a scrambling module and a recovery module. The scrambling module scrambles a selected portion of the application program using an identifier which identifies the authorized processor design. The recovery module adds an unscrambling program to the application program such that when the program is running in a processor, it retrieves a second identifier from the processor and unscrambles the scrambled portion of the application program using the retrieved second identifier. If the second identifier does not correspond to an authorized processor design, the unscrambling operation will incorrectly unscramble the scrambled portion and the application program will not run properly.11-11-2010
