20100091028 | Texture Level Tracking, Feedback, and Clamping System for Graphics Processors - Embodiments include a texture mapping processor incorporating a dynamic level of detail map for use in a graphics processing system. Level of detail values are defined, with 0 being the finest and corresponding to the largest mipmap level. Each bound texture in a graphics object is assigned an identifier. This identifier is used as an index into a minimum-LOD value tracking table that is updated whenever a texel is fetched. A texture processing module controls when the tracking table is initialized and read back, and which identifiers are tracked. The minimum-LOD values in the tracking table are accompanied by a coarse region access mask to associate a minimum LOD value with a specific region of the image or object. A clamping table contains LOD clamp values for each region and a region code that specifies the coarseness of the LOD associated with each region of the texture. | 04-15-2010 |

20090277065 | Processes and Systems for Monitoring Usage of Projectile Weapons - Processes and systems for detecting a shot by a projectile weapon are disclosed. Data is obtained along at least two different axes for use in determining whether a shot has taken place based on an evaluation by a processor. In certain embodiments, multiple detection systems are positioned on a weapons platform mounting multiple projectile weapons, and each is configured to detect only a shot by a respective one of the projectile weapons. | 11-12-2009 |
20090287455 | Processes and Systems for Monitoring Environments of Projectile Weapons - Processes and systems are disclosed for recording data relating to a shot by a projectile weapon. Environment data occurring prior to data indicating the occurrence of a shot by the projectile weapon is retained for subsequent evaluation. Such environment data includes, but is not limited to, ambient audio data, video data produced by a video camera associated with the projectile weapon, GPS data representing locations of the projectile weapon, electronic compass data representing orientations of the projectile weapon and acceleration data representing accelerations of the projectile weapon. | 11-19-2009 |
