20100174623System and Method for Managing Items of Interest Selected from Online Merchants - A system for managing wish list items from a plurality of online merchants is provided. The system includes a memory, processor and item management module executed by the processor. The memory stores data regarding the wish list items that have been selected by a user while browsing online merchant websites. The item management module has a receive-advice feature that sends an electronic message to user-selected contacts. The electronic message contains a request for feedback on one or more selected items of interest. When the contacts submit feedbacks, they are stored in the memory for viewing by the user.07-08-2010
20110125565Systems and Methods for Multi-Channel Offer Redemption - In one aspect, a system includes a transaction handler, a data warehouse to store transaction data recording transactions processed at the transaction handler and to store account data identifying an account of the user, and a portal to receive a user selection of a first portion of an advertisement and, in response, to present a user interface. The advertisement provides an offer and includes a second portion which when selected directs the user to a website of an advertiser. The data warehouse is to store data associating the offer with the account data of the user in response to a request made in the user interface. The system is to monitor transactions processed at the transaction handler to identify a purchase paid via the account and eligible for the redemption of the offer. The transaction handler is to provide statement credits to the user, if the payment transaction is identified.05-26-2011

20100262720TECHNIQUES FOR WRITE-AFTER-WRITE ORDERING IN A COHERENCY MANAGED PROCESSOR SYSTEM THAT EMPLOYS A COMMAND PIPELINE - A technique for maintaining input/output (I/O) command ordering on a bus includes assigning a channel identifier to I/O commands of an I/O stream. In this case, the channel identifier indicates the I/O commands belong to the I/O stream. A command location indicator is assigned to each of the I/O commands. The command location indicator provides an indication of which one of the I/O commands is a start command in the I/O stream and which of the I/O commands are continue commands in the I/O stream. The I/O commands are issued in a desired completion order. When a first one of the I/O commands does not complete successfully, the I/O commands in the I/O stream are reissued on the bus starting at the first one of the I/O commands that did not complete successfully.10-14-2010

20100053979METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A UNIFORM IRRADIANCE DISTRIBUTION FROM AN ARRAY OF LIGHT EMITTING DIODES - An apparatus and method for producing a spatially uniform irradiance in an image plane are provided. The apparatus includes an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) which generate light (i.e., an image). The apparatus combines the outputs of an array of the LEDs in such a way as to produce a spatially uniform irradiance in an image plane some distance away. The apparatus includes an array of lenslets to form images of the emitting areas of the individual LEDs. The lenslets have a magnification, size and spacing such that the images produced by the respective LEDs are adjacent to one another and not overlapping. The irradiance distribution in the image plane is equivalent to an image of an LED whose emitting area is equal to the total area of the LED array, and whose total power is equal to the total power of the LEDs in the LED array.03-04-2010

20090032197Joint compound guide bead dispenser and process for finishing wallboard joints - A joint compound guide bead dispenser, for finishing wallboard joints and a process for finishing wallboard joints. The guide bead dispenser includes a housing containing an adhesive coated cord wound on a rotatably mounted spool. The housing has an opening through which the cord passes and a roller rotatably mounted proximate to the opening. A cutting blade is mounted on the housing proximate to the opening. A length of cord may be payed out through the opening. The cord may be adhered to wallboard, proximate to a joint, by applying pressure with the roller and cut to selected length. Joint compound may be applied to cover the joint and smoothed to a uniform feathered finish by resting a straight edged knife on the wallboard and on the guide bead while moving the knife in a joint compound applying stroke.02-05-2009
