20090208899Fluid bypass device for handheld dental devices - A bypass device and kit for delivering a fluid to a dental area for use with a dental handpiece. The device comprises a fluid reservoir, a length of hollow tubing that will be attached externally to the handpiece, and a nosepiece connected to the tubing. Fluid is delivered to the dental area through the nosepiece, independently of the dental handpiece.08-20-2009
20110070556Micro evacuator and method of use - An evacuation and/or irrigation device for use in connection with a vacuum source and used in a relatively localized surgical area. The evacuation device has a main body connected to a dental tool and a hook-like evacuation needle connected to the body. The needle has a plurality of spaced apart vacuum ports to provide irrigation circumferentially to sterilize and clean the surgical area.03-24-2011
20110087605Ultrasonic device having memory capabilities - A dental device capable of monitoring at least one characteristic of the dental device. The characteristics are monitored by the use of microchips; radio frequency identification devices (RFID), bar codes, resistors, diodes, semiconductors, and magnetic strips.04-14-2011
20110117518APPLICATOR TIP - Methods and devices for delivering precise metered amounts of dental material during a dental procedure. The invention provides devices and methods for restricting the delivery area of the exit of a dental compule or capsule, thereby providing a specific amount of dental material. The devices include applicator tips having a smaller fluid exit than that of the compule or capsule that can be mated externally with a dental compule or capsule to reduce the amount of instant dental material being delivered from the capsule or compule.05-19-2011

20090042162Dental tool adaptor assembly - A disposable extension member for joining a dental handtool to a disposable, hollow, dental tip. The dental handtool includes a chuck for releasably retaining the extension member. The extension member has at least one fluid-tight passageway extending through its body for fluid flow from the dental handpiece to the dental tip. The extension member includes an adaptive releasable locking member having an internally threaded, cuplike end portion dimensioned for releasable threading engagement with the dental tip. The chuck provides easy and efficient clamping means to secure the extension member within the handtool.02-12-2009
20090088476Dental irrigant - An irrigant comprising either a hypochlorite compound or a chlorhexidine compound in combination with at least one surfactant and preferably two or more surfactants, including fluorosurfactants, ethoxylates, sulfonates, quaternary ammonium compounds, amine oxides, and combinations thereof, wherein each of the surfactants are capable of complexing with one another.04-02-2009
20100047735Apparatus and methods for treating tooth root canals - Systems and methods provide for automated, cyclic delivery and evacuation of a treatment or irrigation solution from a tooth root pulp chamber and pulp canals. A manifold has a base member sized and configured to rest on a crown of an instrumented tooth and a top member sized and configured to couple with the base member to define an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The distal end of a needle is passed through an opening between the inlet and outlet chambers and extended distally beyond the base member into a pulp canal. The proximal end of the needle includes an opening in fluid communication with the inlet chamber. A solution is transferred from a fluid supply source to the inlet chamber and through the needle into the pulp chamber and pulp canals. The spent solution is evacuated from the pulp chamber and pulp canals through the outlet chamber. The system further includes additional devices, such as a light source, an electrical source, a heat source, for increasing the efficacy of the system.02-25-2010
20100059139Syringe filling apparatus - A syringe filling apparatus having a housing, a fluid reservoir, and a port for providing a fluid pathway between the syringe and the fluid reservoir. The apparatus has an alarm to indicate the fluid level within the reservoir.03-11-2010
20100059140Syringe filling apparatus - A syringe filling apparatus having a housing, a fluid reservoir, and a port for providing a fluid pathway between the syringe and the fluid reservoir. The apparatus has an alarm to indicate the fluid level within the reservoir. The apparatus has a heating system for heating the fluid within the reservoir to a predetermined temperature.03-11-2010
20100136141Hemostatic agent - A generally non-acidic hemostatic agent, having a relatively neutral pH comprising a magnesium compound, such as a magnesium chloride, a magnesium sulfate and/or a magnesium acetate based compound. The resultant agent is generally less caustic than previous agents, when using a similar amount of active material.06-03-2010
20100279250Programmable dental device - A multiuse programmable dental device that allows the user to selectively program various fluid delivery regimens and methods of using and programming the irrigator device. The irrigator may also be operated manually, as desired by the operator. Other features, such as selective delivery of various fluids, monitoring fluids levels of the system, and the capability to store previously used regimens within the systems memory, are found in the present invention.11-04-2010
20100279251Flexible needle housing - A flexible or adjustable housing for a surgical needle and a needle assembly that includes the housing. Adjustment of the length of the housing allows the needle to accommodate tooth canals of varying lengths, while providing the requisite support for the needle, without needing to adjust the actual length of the needle.11-04-2010
