20090013586Slip Bobber Rig - A slip bobber rig having an elongated member carrying a slip bobber and a bobber stop with one end of the line securable to a fishing line and the other end of the line securable to an article of fishing tackle as well as a method of attaching a slip bobber to a fishing line without having to thread the fishing line through the slip bobber.01-15-2009
20090133312STEM GUIDE AND REPLACEABLE CARTRIDGES - The invention relates to a stem guide that is configured to receive a replaceable cartridge. The stem guide includes a cartridge receiving end having a cartridge attachment means for attaching the cartridge to the stem guide in a manner that the cartridge can be removed from the stem guide without causing an amount of damage to either the cartridge or the stem guide which prevents either the cartridge or stem guide from being used again. The stem guide may be provided in a kit form with a variety of replaceable floats, scent sticks and light sticks.05-28-2009
20090250540BAIL RELEASE MECHANISM FOR SPINNING REELS - A bail assembly for a spinning-type fishing reel is disclosed that includes a first bail arm, a second bail arm, a bail wire disposed between the first bail arm and the second bail arm, and a readily releasable attachment device disposed on the first bail arm to readily releasably attach the first bail arm to the reel.10-08-2009
20090272021SLIP BOBBER RIG - A slip bobber rig having an elongated member carrying a slip bobber and a bobber stop with one end of the line securable to a fishing line and the other end of the line securable to an article of fishing tackle as well as a method of attaching a slip bobber to a fishing line without having to thread the fishing line through the slip bobber.11-05-2009
20100216522CELL PHONE BATTERY SYSTEM WITH BACK-UP RESERVE - The invention relates to a cell phone battery pack and a method of providing backup battery power to a cell phone. The cell phone battery pack is configured to be positioned within a cell phone. The battery pack includes a first battery, a second battery and a means to allow switching between the first battery and the second battery for powering the cell phone. The first battery and the second battery may differ in one or both of size and capacity.08-26-2010
20100281757TWO PART SLIP BOBBER AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY - The invention is directed to a fishing bobber includes an upper float portion and a lower float portion. The upper float portion includes an outer surface terminating at one end in a first opening of a first diameter and terminating at a second end in a second opening of a second, larger diameter and having a tube extending from the first opening in the direction of the second opening. The lower float portion includes an outer surface terminating at one end in a first opening of a first diameter and terminating at a second end in a second opening of a second, larger diameter and having a tube extending from the first opening in the direction of the second opening. Mating the second opening of the upper float portion to the second opening of the lower float portion causes the tube of the upper float portion to mate with the tube of the lower float portion to form a channel passing through the combined first and second portions and a joint formed between the upper float portion and the lower float portion and between the tubes results in a cavity. The bobber may be formed using ultrasonic welding.11-11-2010
20110225869STEM GUIDES AND REPLACEABLE CARTRIDGES - The invention relates to a method for adjusting the buoyancy of a fishing bobber. The method includes providing a buoyant member and a stem guide configured to receive the buoyant member, mounting the buoyant member to the stem guide and cutting the buoyant member. The buoyant member is made of a material capable of being severed by a cutting device and having first length, a lower end, and an upper end. The stem guide receives the buoyant member and a fishing line with fishing tackle. The buoyant member is cut such that the buoyant member has a second length shorter than the first length. The buoyant member is cut to a second length such that the buoyancy of the buoyant member when cut to a second length is enough to oppose the tendency of the stem guide and fishing tackle to submerse the buoyant member such that a top surface of the cut buoyant member is adjacent to the surface of the water when the stem guide, buoyant member, fishing line and any fishing tackle are placed in the water.09-22-2011
20120005946ECO-FRIENDLY, LEAD FREE, REPLACEABLE JIG HEAD SYSTEM - The invention generally relates to a modular fishing hook accessory mounting system for removably mounting a fishing accessory on a hook. The system includes a hook, a modular mounting member and a fishing accessory. The hook has a shank portion and an eye shank portion, the eye shank portion being located at one end of the shank portion. The modular mounting member is mounted on the hook for removably receiving a fishing accessory. The fishing accessory is removably mounted on the modular mounting member, the fishing accessory having a recess formed therein for slidably receiving at least a portion of a retaining member for retaining the retaining member and fishing accessory to the mounting member. The fishing accessory may be a jig head that is substantially lead-free, such as being made from a steel that has been powdered, pressed and sintered. Of course, the modular fishing hook accessory mounting system will work with lead jig head that is modified to be removable.01-12-2012
