20120037557Filter - The filter may include a first end cap, a second end cap, and a filter media. The filter media may be located between the first end cap and the second end cap. The filter media and the end caps may be located in a shell. An insert including a projection may be connected to the shell. The projection may engage a valve in the filter head when the filter is mounted onto a filter head. The projection may include a curved portion. The curved portion may engage a ball in the valve. The filter media may be a coalescing media which may assist in separating water from a fuel and water mixture.02-16-2012

20110187566NOISE SHAPING FOR DIGITAL PULSE-WIDTH MODULATORS - A noise shaper that compares an input signal to a feedback output signal, which is a truncated version of the input signal, and generates the difference between the two signals (i.e., the error). The noise shaper then integrates the errors by adding to the error multiple of its delayed versions, and quantizes the integrated errors in such a way that the spectrum of the quantization noise is shaped toward high frequencies to be removed by a LC low-pass filter used in conjunction with the noise shaper. The low frequency content of the desired signal is mostly unaffected.08-04-2011
20120038340DYNAMIC CONTROL LOOP FOR SWITCHING REGULATORS - Some embodiments regard a method of controlling a regulator having an input voltage and an output voltage, comprising: turning on a first driver; determining a duration ratio having a first time period over the first time period and a second time period; the first time period and the second time period indicating a duration when the first driver and a second driver is on, respectively; generating a second voltage level for the reference voltage based on the duration ratio and a ripple voltage that is a difference between a high threshold voltage and a low threshold voltage; turning off the first driver and turning on the second driver based on a relationship between the second voltage level and a voltage level of the output voltage; turning off the second driver when a current flowing through a node of the output voltage reaches a pre-determined level; and generating a change in the first time period based on the duration ratio and a voltage difference between a peak of the output voltage and the high threshold voltage.02-16-2012

20100183704dsRNA FOR TREATING VIRAL INFECTION - The invention relates to double-stranded ribonucleic acids (dsRNAs) targeting gene expression carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase 2, aspartate transcarbamylase, and dihydroorotase (CAD), and their use for treating infection by positive stranded RNA viruses such as hepatitis C virus (HCV). Each dsRNA comprises an antisense strand having a nucleotide sequence which is less that 30 nucleotides in length, generally 19-25 nucleotides in length, and which is substantially complementary to at least a part of the CAD target mRNA. A plurality of such dsRNA may be employed to provide therapeutic benefit. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the dsRNA together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and including a delivery modality such as fully encapsulated liposomes or lipid complexes. The invention further includes methods for treating diseases caused by positive stranded RNA virus infection using the pharmaceutical compositions; and methods for inhibiting the propagation of positive stranded RNA viruses in and between cells.07-22-2010
20100184823dsRNA For Treating Viral Infection - The invention relates to double-stranded ribonucleic acids (dsRNAs) targeting gene expression of phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase (PI4K), in particular human phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase, catalytic, beta polypeptide (PIK4CB) or human phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase, catalytic, alpha polypeptide (PIK4CA), and their use for treating infection by positive stranded RNA viruses such as hepatitis C virus (HCV). Each dsRNA comprises an antisense strand having a nucleotide sequence which is less that 30 nucleotides in length, generally 19-25 nucleotides in length, and which is substantially complementary to at least a part of the PIK4CB or PIK4CA target mRNA. 20110028055Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle - An amphibious, all-terrain vehicle utilizing a pair of hydrostatic pumps to independently provide power to hydraulic drive mechanisms of the left and right side of the vehicle respectively. The hydraulic drive mechanisms on a side of the vehicle comprise a plurality of hydraulic wheel motors and a hydraulic propeller motor. Using a novel hydraulic manifold assembly, the vehicle can operate in three distinct modes: wheels only, wheels and propellers, and propellers only. The hydraulic manifold assembly also allow the vehicle to by put in neutral mode for starting. The wheel motors are mounted in a pair of undercarriage assemblies that are outside of the vehicle's body and fluidly connected to the hydraulic manifold assembly thorough a hose chase that extends well above the vehicle's waterline to eliminate the potential for water to enter the body of the vehicle when operated in the water.02-03-2011
