| 20090006504 | Method and file system - In order to face fragmentation, a method for storing and organizing files on a storage medium via a file system reserves on the storage medium a non-fragmented segment for taking up a file by storing within the file system an identification of an address range of the segment. The file is written within the segment and information is stored in the file system. The information is suited to find the file. The size of the segment is derived by statistical methods from file sizes of a kind of the file. | 01-01-2009 |
| 20100198382 | METHOD OF CONFIGURING MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEMS - In a method of configuring a manufacturing execution system implemented in industrial production systems, data of a first coding type is received from a first hierarchical layer, and data of a second coding type is received from a second hierarchical layer. The method transforms at least one of the data of the first type and the data of the second type to a complex data structure configured for implementing uniform data processing within the manufacturing execution system. | 08-05-2010 |

| 20090236907 | Low Voltage Control Interface Coupler For Multipulse Transmitter - A method for causing, in a power distribution network, an oscillation allowing data to be transmitted, includes connecting at least one capacitive load in series with a modulation circuit between two wires of the network. The amplitude modulation circuit includes at least one Zener diode and at least one switch. A short make pulse is applied to the switch such that it is conductive and short-circuits the Zener diode by modulating the amplitude of the network voltage. The duration of the make pulse is such that the amplitude modulation of the network voltage causes a response of the network in the form of a high-frequency oscillation of the network voltage. | 09-24-2009 |
| 20100119015 | SUPPRESSING INTERFERENCE FOR WIRELESS RECEPTION AND IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO PROCESSING A FREQUENCY SHIFT KEYED SIGNAL - A communications receiver may include an adaptive filter unit for removing coherent interference components from a received signal. In the absence of a signal of interest, the filter may adapt dynamically to remove current interference components. When a signal of interest is detected, the filter may be controlled to stop (or at least reduce) its adaptation, to prevent removal of the signal of interest. The received signal may be down-converted to a complex baseband by conditioning circuitry. A detector may detect the signal of interest, and control the filter. Autocorrelation may be used to estimate a characteristic of the signal of interest in the complex baseband. The detector may include hysteresis to react quickly to the start of signal of interest, and more slowly to an end of the signal of interest. The signal of interest may be a frequency shift keyed (FSK) signal. A demodulator may demodulate FSK components based on the autocorrelation result. The characteristic of the signal of interest used for detection and/or demodulation may be a directional characteristic of a vector representing the complex baseband signal in complex space. | 05-13-2010 |
