20090187978SECURITY AND AUTHENTICATIONS IN PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKS - A system and method for providing access to a secured data resource to a client on a peer-to-peer network. The system includes a content management server which receives and verifies a first request for access to a secured data resource from the client. If the first request is valid, the content management server generates a second request for access to the secured data resource which comprises peer-to-peer control information and information identifying the secured data resource, and which can additionally include a signature generated using a shared key. The content management transmits the second request to the client, which then retransmits the second request to a peer-to-peer control server. The control server receives the second request and validates it. Such validations can include validating the request with the shared key. If the second request is valid, the control server transmits instructions for accessing the secured data resource back to the client.07-23-2009

20090313237GENERATING QUERY SUGGESTIONS FROM SEMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS IN CONTENT - A method for suggesting related queries to a user query using semantic relationships that are present in informational content stored in public domains. Semantic relationships between named entities are discovered and the named entities are extracted. The entities are indexed according to the relationships. When a user query is received that includes one of the entities, query suggestions are returned to the user based on indexed relationships corresponding to the entity named in the user query.12-17-2009

Suggested queries may be based on content associated with the webpage, or the description of the webpage (such as a URL), or default suggestions. In one example, content of a page is crawled for terms that are mapped to suggested queries. Queries may be represented as textual links or multimedia images embedded in pages accessed over a network, and selection of a query may direct or enhance search engine traffic.08-04-2011

20090030916LOCAL COMPUTATION OF RANK CONTRIBUTIONS - The claimed subject matter relates to an architecture that can identify, store, and/or output local contributions to a rank of a vertex in a directed graph. The architecture can receive a directed graph and a parameter, and examine a local subset of vertices (e.g., local to a given vertex) in order to determine a local supporting set. The local supporting set can include a local set of vertices that each contributes a minimum fraction of the parameter to a rank of the vertex. The local supporting set can be the basis for an estimate of the supporting set and/or rank of the vertex for the entire graph and can be employed as a means for detecting link or web spam as well as other influence-based social network applications.01-29-2009

20080235187RELATED SEARCH QUERIES FOR A WEBPAGE AND THEIR APPLICATIONS - An inversion of the basic format of searching is provided herein. Instead of receiving a search query and providing web page results, a search engine receives a web page identifier as search input from an end user, determines related search queries for the associated web page, and provides the related search queries to the end user issuing the search. Related search queries for web pages may also be used to refine search engines performing the basic form of searching by facilitating the determination of web pages to index and the ranking of web pages as search results to user queries. Additionally, related search queries may be used in advertising revenue generation and sharing.09-25-2008

20080311442Comprehensive Method for Triggering Anode Bleed Events in a Fuel Cell System - A method for triggering an anode bleed from split fuel cell stacks in a fuel cell system that employs anode flow-shifting. The method requests the bleed if any one of three different conditions are met. Those conditions include that the concentration of nitrogen in the anode side of the split stacks is above a predetermined percentage, the voltage spread between the maximum cell voltage and the minimum cell voltage of two fuel cells in the split stacks is greater than a predetermined spread voltage and the absolute value of the difference between the overall voltage of the two split stacks is greater than a predetermined voltage. The concentration of nitrogen in the anode can be determined in any suitable manner, such as by a nitrogen cross-over model or a sensor.12-18-2008
20080312849Anode Bleed Control Strategy for Improved Water Management and Hydrogen Utilization - A control strategy for bleeding an anode side of fuel cell stack in a fuel cell system that improves water management and addresses durability and performance concerns. The method includes determining when to begin the anode bleed, typically by estimating or measuring the amount of nitrogen in the anode side of the stack. The method also includes determining when to end the anode bleed based on the volume of gas that has been bled. The method determines the mole flow rate of the anode gas flowing through a bleed valve, integrates the mole flow rate to get the number of moles of the gas that have passed through the bleed valve, determines a desired amount of moles to be bled, and ends the bleed when the actual number of moles of the gas equals the desired number of moles of the gas.12-18-2008
20090111000Anode Bleed Flow Detection and Remedial Actions - A system for bleeding the anode side of first and second split fuel cell stacks in a fuel cell system that employs anode flow-shifting, where each split stack includes a bleed valve. The system determines that one or both of the bleed valves is stuck in an open position if there is flow through an orifice and a bleed has not been commanded. A shut-off valve is then used to provide the bleed if the cathode exhaust gas is able to dilute the hydrogen in the bled anode exhaust gas. An outlet valve between the first and second split stacks is used to bleed the anode exhaust gas if the cathode exhaust gas is not significant enough to dilute the hydrogen in the anode exhaust gas. If the first or second bleed valve is stuck in the closed position, then the outlet valve is used to provide the bleed.04-30-2009

A pair of accelerometers sense relative acceleration across the mount between the engine and the frame and generate a relative acceleration signal. A control unit is electrically connected to the accelerometers. The control unit is adapted to generate an electronic control signal in response to the relative acceleration signal. The control device is responsive to the electric control signal for controlling the damping force of the hydraulic mount.
