20100158203Conference Call Replay - Call replay systems and methods are disclosed. A call replay system can record a telephonic communication and replay the recorded communication upon request. The entire communication may be recorded, or only a portion, such as the most recent few minutes. The entire recording can be transmitted to a requester, or only a portion. The recording may be altered before it is transmitted to a requestor. Alterations may include actions taken to reduce playback time, such as removing spaces in the recording where no conversation is taking place, or speeding up the recording. Other alterations may include adjusting the sonic characteristics of the recording, translating the recording, or transcribing the recording to create a text version.06-24-2010
20100158213Sysetms and Methods for Intelligent Call Transcription - Intelligent call transcript systems and methods are disclosed. An intelligent call transcript system can create a transcript of a telephonic communication and supplement the transcript with additional information automatically or upon request. Additional information may be added when key words are detected, such as adding acronym expansion when an acronym is detected or adding identifying information to an important task when mention of the task is detected. Portions of the transcript may also be sent as messages, text-based or audio, upon detection of key words or at the instruction of a user or device.06-24-2010
20100159833Headset Locator Device - A mobile telephone may aid a user in locating a lost wireless headset. The mobile telephone may include a processor and a user interface. The processor may receive data indicative of a quality (e.g., wireless signal strength) related to a proximity between the mobile telephone and the wireless headset. The processor may determine the proximity of the wireless headset to the mobile device. For example, the processor may compare the data to a reference value, such as one based on a transmit class (e.g., BLUETOOTH class) protocol in use between the mobile telephone and the wireless headset. The processor may correlate relative position data to determine a direction to the wireless headset. The processor indicate a distance and/or direction to the user via the user interface and may selectively enable one of the wireless headset and an audio interface of the mobile telephone unit as a default device based on the relative proximity to the wireless headset.06-24-2010
20100159986RF Object Index - The system may include a plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and a mobile telephone. The RFID tags may be affixed to one or more personal objects, such as a key, a watch, a wallet, a purse, a medicine container, or the like. The mobile telephone may be associated with the plurality of RFID tags. A display of the mobile telephone may indicate whether each of the RFID tags is in communication with an RFID reader. For example, the RFID reader may be embedded in a drawer lining, embedded in the mobile telephone itself, or embedded in a handheld wand. The mobile telephone may generate an alert when at least one of the plurality of RFID tags is not in communication with the RFID reader. For example, a trigger RFID may be affixed to a doorway. The trigger RFID may cause the mobile telephone to alert the user to a missing item.06-24-2010
20100162122Method and System for Playing a Sound Clip During a Teleconference - A system, method, and device for playing a sound clip during a teleconference. The method includes recording or otherwise obtaining a sound clip, storing the sound clip, associating the sound clip to a corresponding activation code, associating a description or identifier to each sound clip, selecting the sound clip to be replayed, and playing the sound clip during a teleconference, while the user is on mute, by entering a corresponding activation code into a user interface.06-24-2010
20100299400Linking Sounds and Emoticons - A method and apparatus for linking sounds and emoticons to allow a recipient of a message containing an emoticon to hear audio associated with the emoticon. In one aspect of the invention, a first user or sender establishes a link or association between the emoticon being sent and a sound file to be associated with that particular emoticon. The emoticon is then transmitted from the sender to the recipient along with the link or association such that the recipient can hear the audio when the emoticon is displayed.11-25-2010
20100331147FITNESS APPLICATIONS OF A WIRELESS DEVICE - Methods and systems for use in connection with a fitness routine and/or an exercise apparatus. In one such method, fitness information is stored in a fitness analysis system and operative communication is established with an exercise apparatus and/or a wireless communication device. A fitness information request is received at the fitness analysis system, and the system sends a setting associated with the exercise apparatus to facilitate a workout using an exercise apparatus. The system receives exercise information corresponding to the workout, and updates fitness information during the workout. The updated fitness information is analyzed to generate associated with the exercise apparatus to facilitate a subsequent workout.12-30-2010
20110039602Methods And Systems For Interacting With Content On A Mobile Device - A mobile device for interacting with electronic content may be provided. The mobile device may include an input device. The input device may include a touch surface such as a touch screen, a touch pad, or the like. A user may perform one or more gestures on the touch surface of the input device. Additionally, the mobile device may include an accelerometer or other suitable sensing device integrated therein. The user may also perform one or more gestures with the mobile device that may be detected by the accelerometer or other suitable seasoning device integrated therein. The mobile device may then perform one or more actions on the electronic content based on the gestures detected on the touch surface and/or the accelerometer or other suitable sensing device.02-17-2011
20110075820Systems And Methods For Managing The Status Of Participants Of A Tele-Networking Meeting - Systems and methods for managing the status of participants of a tele-networking meeting are disclosed. During a tele-networking meeting, a network device may monitor the talk time of each participant of the meeting. If a participant's talk time exceeds the target talk time, the network device may prompt the chair, and the chair may take action. Action may include managing a participants status by muting, disconnecting, or spinning the participant off into a subconference. Additionally, during a tele-networking meeting, a chair may also create a subconference on network device. Thus, the chair may be able to spin off participants of a tele-networking meeting into a subconference controlled by a subchair.03-31-2011
20110077046Systems and Methods for Providing Mobile Advertising and Directory Assistance Services - Rich multimedia content is provided to a wireless device, particularly in response to a request for directory assistance generated by a client application. The multimedia content is provided as a multimedia message including bundled multimedia elements such as images, sound, text, and video files. The multimedia elements are compiled into a single multimedia presentation or deck that includes multiple screens that are automatically advanced for the convenience of the wireless device user. The user can interact with elements of the multimedia presentation, for example by placing orders, providing payment information, controlling playback, and forwarding or saving the deck to the wireless device. Multiple decks may be retrieved by a single request, and the decks are presented in an order determined by a bidding system or according to user preferences. Elements can be presented visually and/or audibly, and the user can interact using voice commands, manual entries, or stored entries.03-31-2011
