20100098969STRUCTURAL MEMBER OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS - The invention provides a structural member of different materials having no different-material-bonded part between aluminum alloy material and steel material to be assembled. The structural member of different materials comprised of steel and aluminum alloy includes a first structural member including steel, and a second structural member having a part including steel and a part including aluminum alloy, the part including steel and the part including aluminum alloy being bonded by different-material bonding. The first structural member and the second structural member are bonded together only by bonding of steels between the part including steel of the second structural member and the first structural member.04-22-2010
20100194148INNER PANEL FOR VEHICLE - According to an inner panel for vehicles of the present invention, a bead forming surface is so provided as to extend continuously with an upper edge part of a wall rising from a bottom surface of the inner panel. Upper beads and lower beads are formed on the bead forming surface. The upper and lower beads extend in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle and are arranged alternately in a width direction of the vehicle. The bead forming surface is positioned above a middle position between an upper surface of the upper bead and a lower surface of the lower bead. Further, the bead forming surface is positioned lower than the upper surface of the upper bead by 3 mm or more. With this structure, a sufficient first acceleration wave can be secured by expanding a stress propagation range in a direction perpendicular to the length of the beads with respect to the first acceleration wave and, also, by reducing a local deformation to be caused by a deformation load from the above of the vehicle during a head impact. Further, with respect to a load from below of the vehicle when contacting built-in components, the inner panel is easily crushed, which can lower a second acceleration wave.08-05-2010

20100215821METAL SOAP FOR ADDITION TO FOOD AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF - There are provided a metal soap which is useful as a food additive to be added to various foods for the purposes of improving a fluidity, an anti-bridging property, a low moisture absorption property and feel upon eating of foods, and has a less adverse influence on the foods, as well as a process for producing the metal soap. The metal soap for a food additive is constituted of a fatty acid calcium salt or a fatty acid magnesium salt having 6 to 24 carbon atoms which is obtained by a double decomposition method, and a water dispersion containing the metal soap in an amount of 2% by mass exhibits a pH of not less than 6 but less than 7. The process for producing the metal soap for a food additive includes the steps of reacting 1 mol of a fatty acid having 6 to 24 carbon atoms with not less than 0.9 mol but less than 1 mol of a monovalent basic compound to obtain a fatty acid basic compound salt; and reacting the fatty acid basic compound salt with a calcium salt or a magnesium salt in an aqueous medium.08-26-2010

20100126220METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LOWER MOLD, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS GOB, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDED GLASS ARTICLE - In one aspect, there is provided a process for manufacturing a lower mold for receiving a falling molten glass droplet, in which without narrowing the option for material for a lower mold, any occurrence of air retention can be favorably prevented and a lower mold excelling in durability can be obtained. The process comprises the film forming step of forming a coating layer on a base material and the surface roughening step of roughening the surface of the coating layer. Preferably, the coating layer contains at least one element selected from among chromium, aluminum and titanium.05-27-2010
20110162412METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDING DIE, GLASS GOB, AND GLASS MOLDED ARTICLE - Disclosed is a lower molding die that can well prevent the occurrence of an air bubble without narrowing the range of choice for materials for the lower molding die and, at the same time, is highly durable. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a molding die for molding molten glass droplets. The method comprises a step of machining a molding surface of the molding die, a polishing step of polishing the molding surface to an arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of not more than 10 nm after the machining step, a step of forming at least one cover layer on the surface of the molding surface after the polishing step, and a step of roughening the surface of the cover layer formed on the molding surface.07-07-2011

20090021633IMAGING DEVICE AND IMAGING SYSTEM - To provide the technology of an image-pickup device that can easily determine whether or not an image is photographed by mounting an interchangeable lens designed for an image-pickup device of an exposure-surface size different from an image-pickup element provided in a camera body. In an image-pickup system, when shooting is performed by mounting an interchangeable lens ready for an image-pickup surface of a size smaller than an image-pickup surface of an image-pickup element installed in the camera body (camera-main body), the main image (high-resolution record image) corresponding to a partial region at the center of the image-pickup surface, the partial region being free of vignetting caused by an insufficient circle, is generated, and a reduced image (e.g, a thumbnail image) is generated by reducing a whole image obtained on the entire image-pickup surface (steps ST01-22-2009
20090251554IMAGING DEVICE AND IMAGING SYSTEM - A plurality of exchange lenses designed for object exposure regions of different sizes can be selectively mounted on the present imaging device. The imaging device determines whether a mismatch state is present, in which the size of the object exposure region of an exchange lens mounted is smaller than the size of the imaging region of an imaging element. If it is determined that a mismatch state is present, an image of a partial region of the imaging region is generated and the image of the partial region is displayed as a live view image in a relatively large area (an area larger than an area for displaying the partial region in a live view display when no mismatch state is present). Accordingly, techniques for performing a live view display with favorable visibility are provided.10-08-2009
