20110101184STRUCTURE FOR ATTACHING AN OBJECT TO A MAST - An apparatus for mounting an object to a mast is presented. The apparatus includes a mast-end component configured to be attached to the mast, and an object-end component configured to be attached to the object. Each of the components has a pivot region which includes a set of extensions, with each extension defining at least one opening. The extensions of the object-end component mesh with the extensions of the mast-end component, with the openings of the extensions aligning along an axis. The apparatus further includes a fastener extending through the openings of the extensions along the axis. When the fastener is tightened, the first and second extensions are compressed together to maintain an angular orientation between the mast-end component and the object-end component about the axis.05-05-2011
20110140985SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING AN OBJECT TO A STRUCTURE - Systems, methods and apparatus are described for mounting objects to a structure, such as a wall or roof of a home. One embodiment is a mounting apparatus that includes a base configured to attach to a structure and mount an object to the structure. The apparatus further includes at least one load applying member attached to the base configured to apply a preload force to the structure. The load applying member includes a loading plate and a plurality of force applying members attached to the loading plate. The force applying members apply a preload force to a surface of the structure during mounting of the object to the structure.06-16-2011

20090160133FITTING FOR TUBE AND PIPE WITH CARTRIDGE - A fitting for a tube or pipe capable of functioning a high pressures having a first fitting component adapted to receive the conduit end; a conduit gripping device such as a ferrule or ferrules and a second fitting component that can be joined to the first fitting component to cause the conduit gripping device to grip the conduit and seal when assembled. In one aspect of the invention, the first fitting component is constructed from a material that is softer than the material used to construct the second fitting component. An additional aspect of the invention include a retaining portion on the second fitting component that constrains the tube gripping device against pressure. The retaining portion can also be configured to retain the tube gripping device to the second fitting component prior to installation and in a finger-tight condition. A further aspect of the invention includes a first fitting component in which an exterior portion of the component is work hardened radially outward from the tube gripping device. The fitting may optionally be provided with a structure to effect the pull-up by torque functionality.06-25-2009

20110304518ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR AN ANTENNA - A mounting assembly for an antenna includes a mounting foot, an antenna mast, and two mast positioning components. The foot includes a base that can be attached to a mounting structure, and two opposing sidewall flanges extending from the base. Each sidewall flange has a respective slot formed therein. The antenna mast has a proximal end pivotally coupled to the foot between the sidewall flanges. The first mast positioning component is coupled between the sidewall flanges, it is movable within the slots, and it provides a first adjustable support structure for the antenna mast. The second mast positioning component is coupled between the sidewall flanges, it is movable within the slots, and it provides a second adjustable support structure for the antenna mast.12-15-2011

20100329780BUSHING AND COUPLING SYSTEM - A bushing includes a base portion having a central axis, a substantially circular aperture extending through the base portion along the central axis, and a plurality of tapered fingers integral with and protruding from the base portion. Each of the tapered fingers are configured to deflect from a first position in which a bolt or similar fastener may pass through the bushing to a second position in which the bushing constricts or clamps down around the bolt. A coupling system and method for rigidly securing two or more components together using one or more bushings is also provided.12-30-2010

20100127947ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR DISH ANTENNA SYSTEM - Antenna systems include adjustment mechanisms to adjust the position of dish antennas. The adjustment mechanism includes a clip, a bracket, and a cam mechanism. The clip is fixedly coupled to and projects outwardly from a mast. The bracket is pivotally coupled to the mast and is between the stationary clip and cam mechanism. The cam mechanism is pivotally coupled to the clip and positioned to rotate the bracket and the dish antenna as the cam mechanism rotates. The clip is made of a lightweight material to reduce the overall weight of the antenna system to enhance performance.05-27-2010
