20080273732Connecting element for a carrying hook of a hearing device - In order to connect a hearing device to a carrying hook, a connecting element is used, which has to satisfy high demands with regards to its precision and stability. To ensure this, the connecting element is designed as a powder injection molded part, in particular as a ceramic injection molded part or metal part, which is manufactured in a ceramic injection molding process or a metal injection molding process.11-06-2008
20090074217Sound channel for a hearing apparatus and corresponding production process - A mechanically more stable and more complexly molded sound channel is to be provided for a hearing apparatus. Provision is made to this end for a sound channel, which has three sections in the longitudinal direction, the middle section of which has a different curvature or a larger internal circumference than the two outer sections, to be produced by injection molding. Here a negative of the sound channel is fixed within the injection molded form, with the negative consisting of a first material. The injection molded form with a second material, which has a higher melting point than the first material, is then extruded. The negative is then melted or burnt out of the cast sound channel. Very complex sound channel forms, for instance also with cavities and branching, can be realized in this way.03-19-2009

20100172528BATTERY COMPARTMENT WITH LATCHING ELEMENT FOR A BEHIND-THE-EAR HEARING DEVICE AND BEHIND-THE-EAR HEARING DEVICE - A battery compartment for a behind-the-ear hearing device includes a battery compartment body having a battery receiving space for accommodating a battery and at least one latching element for locking to a hearing device housing. The latching element and the battery compartment body are formed of different materials and the latching element is disposed in a holding device in the battery compartment body. A behind-the-ear hearing device with a latching element and the use of polyoxymethylene for manufacturing the latching element, are likewise provided. As a result of the separation of the latching element and the battery compartment body and the use of different materials, a switching and locking function can be optimized and the wearing quality can be improved.07-08-2010

20110188689CONDUCTION DEVICE FOR A HEARING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CONDUCTION DEVICE - A hearing apparatus, more particularly a hearing aid, generally requires sound or electrical signals to be conducted from a housing, worn outside of an auditory canal of a user, to an earpiece which has been inserted into the auditory canal. An appropriate conduction device often has a soft tube. The tube must be fixedly connected to the earpiece so that the latter can be pulled out of the auditory canal using the tube. Nevertheless, the connection between the tube and the earpiece is made detachable by an appropriate plug so that the earpiece can be cleaned. The plug is attached as securely as possible to the soft tube. One end of the tube and a region of the plug may be encapsulated by a material by insert molding or the tube and the plug may be welded together. A method for producing a conduction device is also provided.08-04-2011

20090060221Computer installed stereo PA amplifier card - The present invention is a stereo PA amplifier that is mounted inside a desktop computer. It is powered by the computer's 12-volt power supply and receives its input via a stereo mini cable from the computer's audio line out. Standard 8-ohm, non-powered speakers are then hooked up directly to the board via its speaker connector board. The volume of the present invention is adjusted by the computer's volume controls. The device eliminates the need for an external stereo amp and external mixer, which thereby reduces the installation time, cost, interconnecting cables, and the space needed for the overall computer system, while at the same time providing quality sound.03-05-2009
