A closed system of locally owned businesses makes up a network of publication points. The business method uses a simple single page “dashboard” interface to select and publish ad campaigns directly into one or more premises helping to qualify and quantify publication points and advertising subscription purchases. The dashboards display has controls to dynamically update campaign publications and display pricing results. In addition, the method builds and displays custom groups based on location, business types, and customer demographics. Thus, custom grouping options as selected by dashboard users. Subscription pricing is by ad size, type, location, subscription period and discount codes. The dashboard may include additional statistics such as subscription renewal dates and ad convergence information. A slave multiplexer is adapted to send an output signal. A timing master radio is connected to the master multiplexer and a timing slave radio is connected to the slave multiplexer, with the timing master radio and the timing slave radio adapted to communicate over a wireless connection. The timing master radio and timing slave radio use complementary TDD frame structures, controlled by the timing master radio, as is common in the art. The master multiplexer further comprising the timing mechanism that recovers timing embedded in the input signal, keeps track of the total number of bits received, and utilizes the total number of bits received thereby maintaining timing. The master multiplexer comprises a packet mechanism that generates a packet. The master multiplexer also provides a method for determining the TDD frame size and phase, and measuring over-the-air data rate of a radio channel.02-12-2009
20090219809Redundant mux cnfiguration - A system and method in accordance with the principles of the present invention prevents data from being permanently lost when external interference causes packet loss, and the interference is long enough in duration to cause adjacent packets to be lost. A data packet stream is transmitted. A redundant data packet stream also is transmitted so that any interference does not cause permanent packet loss, since either the original data packet stream or the redundant data packet stream arrives. In one embodiment, the redundant data packet stream is a delayed transmission. In another embodiment, the data packet stream is transmitted over one link and the redundant data packet stream is transmitted over another link. One implementation of the present invention includes a hybrid multiplexer and redundant communications links. When performance of one link degrades, the hybrid multiplexer switches the traffic to the other link.09-03-2009
