2010003809990 Degree Dry Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler - A horizontal dry fire protection sprinkler includes a housing having a vertical segment and a horizontal segment extending generally perpendicular to the vertical segment. The vertical segment defines an inlet opening. A plug member is disposed in the inlet opening for sealingly closing the inlet opening. A sprinkler is attached to the horizontal segment and includes a base having a passage extending therethrough and defining an outlet opening. A cap is disposed in the outlet opening and a heat sensitive trigger engages the cap. A translation mechanism is disposed in the housing and engaging the cap and supporting the plug member in the inlet opening, wherein when the heat sensitive trigger releases support of the cap, the translation mechanism is allowed to move within said housing to allow the plug member to dislodge from the inlet opening.02-18-2010
20100170685Method Of Making A Flow Shaper For A Sprinkler Assembly - A sprinkler assembly includes a body, a support, which extends from the body, and a closure device that releasably closes the discharge opening of the body. The sprinkler assembly further includes a trigger that releasably holds the closure device at the discharge opening. The support is adapted to allow the fluid flowing from the discharge opening, when the closure device is released, to pass through the support substantially unimpeded by the support and, further, is adapted to reshape the flow of fluid as it flows through the support.07-08-2010

20100167266Compositions and Methods for Determining Whether a Subject Would Benefit from Co-Receptor Inhibitor Therapy - The present invention provides methods and compositions for determining whether a subject would benefit from co-receptor inhibitor therapy. In certain aspects, the methods can be used to determine whether a subject infected with a dual-mixed tropic population of HIV would benefit from CCCR5-inhibitor therapy or CXCR4-inhibitor therapy, the methods comprising determining whether the HIV population is a homogeneous or heterogeneous population of HIV, wherein the nature of the homogenous or heterogenous population of HIV indicates whether the patient would benefit from co-receptor inhibitor therapy.07-01-2010

20090080562Wireless SATA/SAS Data Transfer System - A wireless data transfer system. The system includes a first hard disk, a first hard disk interface, and a first transmitter. The first hard disk interface is configured to retrieve first read data from the first hard disk and to create a first bit serial signal from the retrieved first read data. The first bit serial signal conforms to a protocol selected from the group consisting of serial advanced technology attachment (SATA) protocol and serial attached small computer system interface (SAS) protocol. The first transmitter is configured to operate at selected carrier frequency greater than 50 GHz, comprising, to operate at effective isotropic radiated power level less than or equal to 40 dBm, to receive the first bit serial signal from the first hard disk interface, to modulate the first bit serial signal using amplitude shift keying modulation to substantially create directly a first signal, and to transmit the first signal.03-26-2009
