20100142112APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ATMOSPHERIC HUMIDITY - An apparatus for modification of the atmospheric humidity profile via creating updrafts of moistened air is provided. The apparatus is based on a capacitor of a Van der Graaf generator which, with the aid of air ionizers comprising a source of alpha particles, produces a unipolar atmospheric electric current of a magnitude sufficient to achieve selective moisture transport. Operating such an apparatus augments or creates a moisture updraft, which may lead to the formation of new clouds and/or an increase in supersaturation in existing clouds, thus enhancing the development of precipitation and/or facilitating the inflow of the evaporated moisture from a water reservoir inland.06-10-2010

20090034557METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC SECURED GROUP COMMUNICATION - A system and method directed to carrying out dynamic secured group communication is provided. The method includes obtaining a first packet that includes a first header. The first header includes a first source address of a first source node of a first network, and a first destination address of a first destination node of the first network. The method also includes forming a frame that includes the first header in encrypted form, combining the first header and the frame to form a second packet, and forming a second header. This second header includes a second source address of a second source node of a second network, and a second destination address of a second destination node of the second network. The method further includes encapsulating the second packet with the second header to form a third packet, and communicating the third packet into the second network from the second source node for termination to the second-destination node.02-05-2009

20110164752Detection of Stale Encryption Policy By Group Members - Various techniques that allow group members to detect the use of stale encryption policy by other group members are disclosed. One method involves receiving a message from a first group member via a network. The message is received by a second group member. The method then detects that the first group member is not using a most recent policy update supplied by a key server, in response to information in the message. In response, a notification message can be sent from the second group member. The notification message indicates that at least one group member is not using the most recently policy update. The notification message can be sent to the key server or towards the first group member.07-07-2011

20080260151USE OF METADATA FOR TIME BASED ANTI-REPLAY - A system and method for facilitating anti-replay protection with multi-sender traffic is disclosed. The system employs time-based anti-replay protection wherein a sender transmits a data packet with a pseudo-timestamp encapsulated in a metadata payload. At the receiving end, the receiver compares the pseudo-timestamp information received with its own pseudo-time, determines if a packet is valid, and rejects a replay packet. The pseudo-time information is transmitted through the metadata payload and new fields need not be added to the IPSec (IP Security) Protocol, thus the existing hardware can be employed without any changes or modifications.10-23-2008
20100318784CLIENT IDENTIFICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION LAYER SECURITY SESSIONS - Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with client identification for transportation layer security sessions are described. One example method includes monitoring a first transportation layer security (TLS) communication between a server and a client. The example method may also include interrupting the first TLS communication and causing the first TLS communication to be interrupted. The example method may also include initiating a second TLS communication with a client side device. The second TLS communication may request a certificate from the client side device. The certificate may include secure information that identifies the client. The example method may also include receiving the certificate from the client side device. The example method may also include authenticating the client, the client side device, and so on, based, at least in part, on the certificate.12-16-2010

20090138841SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR IN-SYSTEM PROGRAMMING - Embodiments of the present invention relate to machines that perform in-system programming of programmable devices that are attached to assembled printed circuit boards. In accordance with one aspect, multiple nonvolatile devices may be programmed in a single session at their normal maximum programming speeds. Different nonvolatile devices on a board can receive different data. Data variables can be inserted so that not all boards receive identical data. A master controller sends image files and algorithm information to a subsidiary controller. The subsidiary controller executes a device algorithm, and an FPGA executes a bus algorithm. Embodiments of the present invention can be designed as stand-alone systems or to operate cooperatively with an automatic tester, so that testing and device programming can take place in a single operation using a single fixture to hold the circuit board.05-28-2009
