20100096866ANIMAL WASTE HANDLING DEVICE - An animal waste handling device includes an elongated foldable. A hand hold thereon has a trigger that operates against a spring bias. A clamp including an upper and a lower clamp element is provided on the handle. A sliding housing is provided on the handle adjacent to the clamp elements and the clamp elements are pivotally attached to the sliding housing. The sliding housing is moved against a spring bias. When the trigger in the hand hold is operated, a cable attached to the trigger moves the sliding housing against the spring bias and opens or closes the clamp elements. A bag for the animal droppings is attached to each of the clamp elements such that the animal waste may be scraped from the ground and contained in the bag, which may then be disposed of in a sanitary manner.04-22-2010
20100096867PICKUP DEVICE FOR ANIMAL WASTE - A foldable device having a grip subassembly, a waste collection subassembly, and a handle extension disposed therebetween. The waste subassembly includes an upper section, a lower section and a pivot subassembly pivotally assembly the upper and lower sections. A trigger is pivotally assembled within the grip subassembly. Pair of waste handling arms are pivotally assembled to the waste collection subassembly. A cable is provided between the trigger and the pair of waste handling arms for operating the waste handling arms. A bag is removably assembled to the waste handling arms for sanitary collection of any animal excrement.04-22-2010

20090065211In situ conversion of subsurface hydrocarbon deposits to synthesis gas - A method for producing synthesis gas from underground hydrocarbon deposits is described. Oxygen and water are reacted with the hydrocarbon deposit under conditions conducive to the production of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. The method is applicable to oil reservoirs from which conventional production means are unable to recover additional oil practically, to viscous oil deposits from which production is limited, and to shale oil deposits.03-12-2009
