20090193357Method and System to Prevent Unintended Graphical Cursor Input - This is a system (as an example) to prevent an undesirable condition of a second application GUI interface window blocking the first application GUI interface window, while the user's focus is on the first window, and causes an unintended input into a wrong application. This is accomplished (as an example) by temporarily discarding the inputs while the Graphical cursor is located on the 2nd application's GUI interface for a predetermined amount of time and gives the user enough time to refocus on this new application GUI interface.07-30-2009
20100050254ASSOCIATING OPERATING SYSTEM NATIVE AUTHORIZATIONS WITH CONSOLE ROLES - Disclosed is a computer implemented method and apparatus to provide authorizations to an administrative user. An integrated solutions console (ISC) receives an administrative user login corresponding to a console administrative user. The ISC presents a list of at least one management task. The ISC presents at least one input interface to a display for an administrative user name and at least one console role. The ISC receives an administrative user name and a console role. The ISC obtains an authorization descriptor that can be used to couple the administrative user name and the console role.02-25-2010
20110271178CLIPBOARD TRANSFER OF FORMATTED NATIVE TEXTUAL CONTENT FROM ONE COMPUTER SYSTEM TO ANOTHER DIFFERENT COMPUTER SYSTEM - A user at a first computer system with a defined block of native text/graphics on a clipboard supported by the first computer system is enabled to provide this same block of marshalled native text in its precise format on a clipboard supported by a second computer system that has a different platform or operating system, wherein the marshalled native text on the clipboard of the second system is ready to be unmarshalled and pasted into a text document stored in the second computer transparently, without losing the format or any of the other attributes of the cut native text and graphics, as if it were a simple cut and paste routine on the same computer system.11-03-2011

20090249442ENABLING SELECTED COMMAND ACCESS - A method, medium and implementing processing system are provided for enabling access to specific privileged commands that are required to successfully execute tasks within an application only to individuals assigned a predetermined role to perform such tasks. In one example, the system administrator defines roles that contain the authorizations needed in order to provide the granularity of security that the users' company has defined. Once the system administrator defines the roles and assigns them to the users, then each user will have the authorizations needed in order to authenticate with the console and perform the system management tasks that they have been assigned. Thus, a web console consisting of a collection of web applications is enabled with the functionality to restrict access to privileged commands necessary to perform selected system management tasks.10-01-2009

20100312479USE OF CHEMICALLY AND GEOLOGICALLY CONSISTENT CONSTRAINTS FOR OBTAINING ELEMENTAL CHEMISTRY DOWNHOLE - A method for estimating a lithotype of an earth formation, the method includes: obtaining at least two different energy spectra of radiation received from the earth formation using the logging tool, each energy spectrum having at least one of a natural gamma-ray spectrum, a fast neutron-induced inelastic spectrum, and a thermal neutron induced capture spectrum; establishing at least one geochemically-based constraint related to elemental spectral yields to be determined; determining the elemental spectral yields from the at least two different energy spectra by decomposing the at least two different energy spectra over weighted sum of monoelemental standards wherein at least one weight is constrained by the at least one geochemically-based constraint and each weight represents a proportion of one monoelemental standard; converting the elemental spectral yields to elemental concentrations; and using a classifier to receive the elemental concentrations as input and to provide a lithotype as output.12-09-2010

20120029254ORDERED COBALT-ALUMINUM AND IRON-ALUMINUM INTERMETALLIC COMPOUNDS AS HYDROGENATION CATALYSTS - The present invention relates to a process for the hydrogenation, in particular the selective hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds, such as the selective hydrogenation of acetylene to ethylene, using a hydrogenation catalyst comprising an ordered intermetallic compound, namely an ordered cobalt-aluminum or iron-aluminum intermetallic compound. According to another aspect, the present invention relates to a catalyst comprising a support and at least one specific ordered cobalt-aluminum and/or iron-aluminum intermetallic compound supported thereon, as well as to the use of specific ordered intermetallic cobalt-aluminum and iron-aluminum intermetallic compounds as catalysts. The ordered cobalt-aluminum and iron-aluminum intermetallic compounds proved to be highly selective and long-term stable catalysts, e.g. in the selective hydrogenation of acetylene to ethylene in a large excess of ethylene.02-02-2012
