More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.11-24-2011

20090211370Extractive Probe for Hot Flue Gas and Process Measurement - Methods and apparatus for extracting gas samples from a particle-laden fluid stream are disclosed. An exemplary sampling probe apparatus includes a probe head having an upstream face and a downstream face, an intake orifice inwardly tapering from the upstream face into a central bore region of a cavity within the probe head, and an outlet orifice outwardly tapering from said central bore region to the downstream face, so as to permit fluid gas flow through the central bore region of the cavity. A filter device disposed within the cavity of the probe head extends between the intake orifice and the outlet orifice so as to divide a low-pressure sampling region of the cavity from the central bore region. A sampling tube in fluid communication with the low-pressure sampling region provides for extracting gas samples from the low-pressure sampling region of the cavity.08-27-2009

20080229108PRIVATE INFORMATION EXCHANGE IN SMART CARD COMMERCE - A method, system and computer program product for private information exchange in smart card commerce is disclosed. The method includes, in response to determining that an item of biometric data received on a biometric reader corresponds to an authorized user, unlocking a communication channel on a communication port, exchanging public keys between the user and authorized point of sale, receiving an information request from an external point of sale machine across the communication channel, decrypting an information request and parsing a data token. In response to determining that private data has been requested in the information request, a user is prompted for authorization to release the private information, and private information exchange in smart card commerce is performed by, in response to the user pressing a yes button on the smart card, placing an encrypted copy of the private data in the public area of the smart card for transmission across the communication channel to the external point of sale machine.09-18-2008

20100066496ACOUSTIC WAVE AND RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION DEVICE AND METHOD - An identification method and identification device are presented employing radio frequency and acoustic wave communication modes. The identification method includes: receiving at an acoustic wave and radio frequency identification device an acoustic wave signal of a first frequency and a radio frequency signal of a second frequency, where the acoustic wave signal and the radio frequency signal are received from an acoustic wave and radio frequency identification reader, and the first frequency and the second frequency are different frequencies; and responding to the receiving by transmitting at least one of an acoustic wave identification (AWID) or a radio frequency identification (RFID) from the acoustic wave and radio frequency identification device.03-18-2010
20110113038SEARCH TERM SECURITY - As indicated above, the present invention transparently inserts search arguments/terms (referred to as noise) into a search string so that the search arguments themselves would not be clearly evident when a user is searching. The inserted noise terms are related to the underlying search terms. This would confuse a mining program and/or hacker looking for sensitive material (such as intellectual property). When the search results are returned, any “hits” resulting from noise will be removed transparently from the overall results. The insertion and removal under the present invention provides a more secure level of searching, yet is completely transparent to the end user. The inserted random search arguments are germane contextually to the search string.05-12-2011

20090146897MICROWAVE DEMULSIFICATION OF HYDROCARBON EMULSION - Recovery of hydrocarbons, such as petroleum products, from a liquid or solid substrate is facilitated by the use of microwave energy to energize and separate molecular bonds between the hydrocarbons and the substrate. A radio frequency (RF) applicator delivers microwave energy to a treatment volume containing an emulsion of a hydrocarbon and a substrate. Delivering the microwave energy to the emulsion facilitates separation of the hydrocarbon and substrate molecules into layers. Hydrocarbons and other products can then be recovered from their respective layers. The treatment volume may be located either above or below ground. The RF applicator may include an antenna body with slots formed substantially parallel to one another in a substantially horizontal orientation. The RF applicator efficiently delivers microwave energy into the treatment volume. Substantially all of the power supplied to the RF applicator is radiated, with very little power reflected internally within the RF applicator.06-11-2009
