20090311905INTERLOCKING DEVICE FOR PLUG CONNECTOR HOUSINGS - The invention proposes an interlocking device (12-17-2009
20100244598CONNECTING DEVICE FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING A THREE-PHASE MOTOR - A connecting device for electrically connecting a three-phase motor having three windings (U, V, W) to a three-phase network. The connecting device comprises a mains connection unit (09-30-2010
20100248513LOCKING DEVICE - The invention proposes a locking device for a two-part connector housing. This locking device consists of two locking elements in connection with an actuating handle. The locking elements respectively consist of a one-piece wire element and feature on one end a part that is shaped in the form of an open eyelet and serves for encompassing a bearing pin of a first connector housing half. On the other end, they feature a part that is shaped in the form of an indentation and serves for producing a snap connection with a locking pin of the second connector housing half. Since the locking elements are manufactured of a flexible spring steel wire, they can be elastically bent such that they can be pushed over the bearing pins of an existing connector housing half and engaged at this location in order to allow the retrofitting of an already installed connector with a locking device with superior environmental resistance.09-30-2010
20110028025CONNECTING DEVICE FOR A MULTICONDUCTOR ELECTRIC CABLE - The invention pertains to a connecting device for a multiconductor electric cable that features a carrier body (02-03-2011

20090041185Angled-beam detection system for container inspection - A non-intrusive inspection system, including apparatuses and methods, for non-intrusively inspecting containers such as, without limitation, those employed to transport items in international commerce. The non-intrusive inspection system is configured to generate and scan a container with multiple bremsstrahlung, or x-ray, beams having multiple spectra and directed at the container in multiple directions and planes separated by one or more angle(s). Using data collected from such scanning, software of the non-intrusive inspection system generates three-dimensional images of the items present in a container, calculates the volumes and densities of such items, computes effective ā€œZā€ numbers, and distinguishes between multiple materials, or elements, of such items. By employing multiple bremsstrahlung beams directed upon a container in multiple planes, the non-intrusive inspection system reduces the number of orientations and geometries of items within a container that might otherwise be employed to avoid the detection of harmful materials being transported within a container.02-12-2009
