20080197572Method of Playing a Poker-Type Game - A method of playing a succession of poker-type games where two cards are revealed in each of a plurality of hands. The cards in the hands remain the same for all of the games in the succession of games. After a player sees the hands, the player wagers on at least one of the hands. Three community cards are randomly chosen and revealed followed by a second round of wagering where the player must either raise or fold each hand wagered on in the previous wager round. The three community cards are part of each hand. Two more community cards are revealed and the winning hand is determined where each hand is a combination of the first two cards and the five community cards.08-21-2008
20100044963Method of Playing a Poker-Type Game - A method of playing a succession of poker-type games that has a plurality of two-card, revealed, starter hands and five unrevealed community cards. The starter hands remain the same for all games of the succession of game. In each game a player wagers on one or more starter hands, after which the community cards are revealed. Each starter hand is combined with all of the community cards to form complete hands. The player is paid a payout amount if a complete hand that has been wagered on is found in the pay table that corresponds to the hand. Optionally, there are multiple sets of community cards. Optionally, the player is required to wager on all of the starter hands. Optionally, the game is played after the occurrence of a triggering event in another game.02-25-2010

20080213749Compositions and methods for detecting human metapneumovirus - Disclosed are oligonucleotides useful in methods for determining whether a sample contains a human metapneumovirus or has an increased likelihood of containing a human metapneumovirus, a virus which is a causative agent of respiratory tract disease in humans. These oligonucleotides, which have nucleotide sequences derived from a coding segment of the gene encoding the fusion protein of a human metapneumovirus, are useful as forward and reverse primers for a polymerase chain reaction using reverse transcripts of RNA from a biological sample as templates, and as probes for detecting any resultant amplicon. Detection of an amplicon indicates the sample contains a human metapneumovirus or has an increased likelihood of containing a human metapneumovirus.09-04-2008
