| 20110189553 | METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND INTEGRATION OF DIRECT SODIUM BOROHYDRIDE FUEL CELL - In the related invention, for different applications, the system integration of a 70-150 W functional and portable direct sodium borohydride fuel cell (DSBHFC) is realized. The system is integrated in such a way that neither the hydrogen from the sodium borohydride fuel nor the oxygen from the oxidant hydrogen peroxide affects the fuel cell performance. The 70-150 W power system consists of 4 different groups. Each group has two stacks with 7 cells. Therefore, each group has a total of 14 cells. The system altogether has 56 cells. The fuel and the oxidant pumped from the storage tanks are sent to the distributing unit through the anode and cathode lines. In the distributor, anode and cathode flows distributed to every feeding line for each stack reach the cells through the distribution lines. The fuel and oxidant solutions in the stack reach the collecting units through the collecting lines. The flows are sent back form the collecting units to the feeding tank. In this way, the circulation of fuel and oxidant in tanks for each 7-cell group is realized and the performance is increased. | 08-04-2011 |

| 20110149666 | BITLINE FLOATING DURING NON-ACCESS MODE FOR MEMORY ARRAYS - Techniques are disclosed that allow for power conservation in integrated circuit memories, such as SRAM. The techniques can be embodied in circuitry that allows for floating of bitlines to eliminate or otherwise reduce power leakage associated with precharging bitlines. For instance, the techniques can be embodied in a bitline floating circuit having a single logic gate for qualifying the precharge control signal with a wake signal, so that precharging of the bitline does not occur if the wake signal is not in an active state. The techniques further allow for the elimination or reduction of unnecessary power consumption by the I/O circuitry or the memory array, such as when the memory array is not being accessed or when the array or a portion thereof is permanently disabled for yield recovery. | 06-23-2011 |

| 20090067084 | Method for establishing and maintaining radial position for hard disk drive self servo write without seed wedges - Magnetic reference patterns may be generated on a disk or other magnetic media without the need for seed wedges. This involves writing a first magnetic reference pattern to the disk with a servo writer. The disk may then be transferred to a hard disk drive. Control circuitry within the hard disk drive may recognize the first magnetic reference pattern and then position a RW head within the hard disk drive based on the first magnetic reference pattern. As the RW drive is accurately positioned based on the first magnetic reference pattern a second magnetic reference pattern may be written to the disk using the RW head. The RW head location is determined based on the velocity and phase between the read-write head and spiral sync marks contained within the first magnetic reference pattern. | 03-12-2009 |

| 20100173626 | ADAPTATION OF HANDOVER PARAMETERS - Handover parameter settings are automatically adapted in access points in a system to improve handover performance. Reactive detection techniques are employed for identifying different types of handover-related failures and adapting handover parameters based on this detection. Messaging schemes are also employed for providing handover-related information to access points. Proactive detection techniques also may be used for identifying conditions that may lead to handover-related failures and then adapting handover parameters in an attempt to prevent such handover-related failures. Ping-ponging may be mitigated by adapting handover parameters based on analysis of access terminal visited cell history acquired by access points in the system. In addition, configurable parameters (e.g., timer values) may be used to detect handover-related failures. | 07-08-2010 |
