20100322341CODE BOOKS FOR MULTIPLE-INPUT AND MULTIPLE-OUTPUT COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS - A method and device for transmitting and receiving data. A device comprises a code book and a transmitter. The code book comprises a plurality of codewords, wherein the plurality of codewords correspond to a plurality of vectors having a largest minimum chordal distance with respect to the plurality of vectors. The transmitter is configured to send a number of wireless signals using the code book. A receiver receives and decodes the number of wireless signals.12-23-2010

20110182342APPARATUS, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD, FOR COMMUNICATING A DATA BLOCK IN A MULTI CARRIER MODULATION COMMUNICATION SCHEME - Apparatus, and an associated method, for sending a data block in an OFDM, or other MCM, communication system with reduced PAPR is provided. The data block is combined with a random scrambling sequence. An IDFT operation is performed upon the combined sequence, and its PAPR, peak-to-average power ratio, is calculated. The PAPR is compared against a threshold. If the PAPR is smaller than a threshold, the transformed, combination sequence is transmitted. Otherwise, a different scrambling sequence, if available, is used to form a new combination sequence, and the process iterates until either a PAPR smaller than the threshold is obtained, or a pre-defined maximum number of iterations is reached. If the maximum number of iterations is reached and no combination sequence is created that leads to an acceptable PAPR, then the transformed, combination sequence that exhibits the smallest PAPR level is selected for transmission.07-28-2011

20110159113HYPERBRANCHED POLYESTER AND A METHOD OF SYNTHESIZING A HYPERBRANCHED POLYESTER - The various embodiments herein provide a hyper branched polyester and a method of synthesizing the same. The embodiments herein also provide a method of encapsulating a drug into the void spaces of the polymer to act as a drug delivery system. The hyper branched polyester mer comprises an acidic moiety and an alcoholic moiety. The acidic moiety is citric acid monohydrate. The alcoholic moiety is glycerol. The acidic moiety and the alcoholic moiety are randomly arranged in the hyperbranched polymer. The method comprises of heating the mixture of citric acid and glycerol at temperatures of 90 to 150° C. by constant stirring for different time periods. In the method of encapsulation, the drug solution is drop-wise added to polymer solution at 37° C. by constant stirring for 24 h.06-30-2011

20080229657SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CONTINUOUS BIOMASS PROCESSING - This invention is directed to biomass processing. In one embodiment, the biomass is processed by contacting the biomass with a swelling agent as the biomass and swelling agent are transported through a reactor system. In another embodiment, the processed biomass is fermented. Steam is also applied in the biomass processing. The steam can be applied before, during or after the biomass is first contacted with the swelling agent.09-25-2008
20090042259Process for enzymatically converting a plant biomass - The present invention describes a process for at least a 90% conversion of a plant biomass preferably by a reduction of the units of cellulase needed and by using a xylanase which acts synergistically with the cellulase to improve the yield of xylose and glucose as sugars. The process enables greater conversion of a lignocellulosic plant biomass to glucose and xylose for use as animal feeds and as fermentation as medium for producing ethanol.02-12-2009
