20100065592DEVICE FOR PUTTING ON A SHOE COVER - A device for putting on a shoe cover on a shoe, comprising a bar and an expanding holder for a shoe cover at one end of the bar, the shoe cover comprising a bag having a neck that is tightened by an elastic string, which extends around at least a part of the circumference of the bag neck. A stand having a guide, which guides the bar to a generally vertical axial motion. Biasing members are provided to bias the bar against an upper end position in which the clamping holder, that is mounted at the lower end of the bar, is lifted up from a substratum for the stand to a level that enables a user to conveniently mount the shoe cover on the holder. The bar is displaceable against the action of the biasing device to a lower state at which the holer having mounted shoe cover is situated at the floor.03-18-2010

20090303261METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVED COLOR MANAGEMENT - A method and apparatus for color matching during compositing. In one embodiment of the invention, a set of one or more un-color matched pixels are stored and associated with a first color profile. A fragment program is generated based on the first color profile and a second color profile associated with a display. During compositing of the set of un-color matched pixels, the fragment program is applied to the set of un-color matched pixels to match colors of those pixels with the display. The color matched pixels are written to the display. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.12-10-2009
20100131777POWER MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENTS - A data processing system refreshes a display at a first frequency when operating in a first power mode. The data processing system refreshes the display at a second frequency when operating in a second mode. The first frequency is higher than the second frequency, and the second power mode is configured to consume less power than the first power mode.05-27-2010

20120092376SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOTION BLUR USING VELOCITY VECTORS - A system and method for applying motion blur to an application window. Motion blur may be applied to pixel in a window by calculating a velocity vector for each pixel in the window with reference to velocity vectors calculated for each corner of the window. Motion blur may be implemented by placing a number of blur samples in a frame along the pixel velocity vector according to the size of the pixel vector, or by directionally downsampling then re-upsampling the content of the window. For a frame having multiple windows, the motion blur for each window may be determined independent of the motion of other windows or as a composite for windows moving together. According to an embodiment, for each pixel in the frame, the associated application window may be identified and the pixel blurred with reference to the corner velocities of the associated application window.04-19-2012

20110144703Flexible Screw - A flexible compression screw having multiple segments, one or more of which are flexible and one or more segments that also include threads. The flexibility is created through the use of at least one helical slot formed generally in the center segment of the element. Additional flexible segments also have at least one helical slot in either the same helical rotation and pattern or in an opposite rotation and/or different pattern. An elastomeric material can fill the hollow body, extend into the slots and/or encompass the exterior. The flexible screw can have a hollow body, including leading and trailing edge, or can have a partially hollow body.06-16-2011

20110004111ISCHEMIA DETECTION USING INTRA-CARDIAC SIGNALS - An implanted cardiac rhythm management device is disclosed that is operative to detect myocardial ischemia. This is done by evaluating electrogram features to detect an electrocardiographic change; specifically, changes in electrogram segment during the early part of an ST segment. The early part of the ST segment is chosen to avoid the T-wave.01-06-2011

20110113082SIGNAL FILTERING AND FILTER DESIGN TECHNIQUES - Signal filtering and filter design techniques are disclosed. An interconnection circuit switchably couples an input and an output of an element that is operable to perform a signal filtering operation on a signal received at the input so as to provide a filtered signal at the output. This enables the element to be used to implement a series of cascaded signal filtering operations. An iterative filter design method and a data structure that enables control of the element and/or the interconnection circuit are also disclosed. According to another aspect of the invention, an element is operable to perform any of multiple signal filtering operations on a received input signal. Controlled selection of respective sets of filter parameters associated with the multiple signal filtering operations enables the element to be used to implement the signal filtering operations in parallel filtering paths.05-12-2011
