20090039722ESP Motor Design - A submersible pump motor having an electroless nickel-boron coating applied to the sleeve and/or bearing.02-12-2009
20110037332Non-Sliding Carrier Bearing in Submersible Pump Motor and Method of Installation - A submersible well pump motor has features to prevent the carrier bearing from sliding axially along the stator due to thermal growth of the rotor. The rotor has a shaft and rotor sections spaced apart from each other. Carrier bearings are located between the rotor sections, each having an anti-rotation member that frictionally engages the inner diameter of the stator to prevent spinning of the carrier bearing. A deflectable thrust washer may be located between ends of the carrier bearing and the rotor sections. The thrust washer reduces in thickness in response to an axial thermal growth force due to axial thermal growth movement of the rotor sections and shaft. The thermal growth force is less than an amount of dislodging force required to cause the anti-rotation member to axially move relative to the stator. Rather than deflectable thrust washers, sacrificial thrust washers that dissolve prior to normal operation may be used.02-17-2011

20100233344PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING LIPID PARTICLES - The present invention makes particles that are substantially spherical by dispensing globules of an at least partially liquid lipid composition into a liquid bath. The globules can be dispensed by dripping the globules into a liquid bath such that the globules become submerged in the liquid bath and at least partially crystallize into particles. The globules can also be pumped into the liquid bath such that the globules are at least initially submerged within the liquid bath and at least partially crystallize into particles.09-16-2010

20110167529Padded arm and leg protectors - Padded arm and leg protectors having particular application to be worn around the arm and leg of one playing the game of paintball to prevent injury as a consequence of a paintball propelled from a paintball marker striking the player's arm or leg. In one embodiment, the arm protector includes a sleeve surrounding the arm and extending at least between the elbow and the wrist of the player. The sleeve has an outside top layer, an inside bottom layer, and a plurality of protective pads retained between the layers. The protective pads are strategically positioned along the sleeve to cover the wearer's elbow, his wrist and at least some of the muscles of the arm between the elbow and the wrist. The protective pads are separated and spaced from one another by respective channels which extend completely around each pad. By virtue of the foregoing, the protective pads are movable independently of one another so as to provide the arm with unrestricted movements during play, whereby to permit the player's elbow to bend, the wrist to rotate and the arm muscles between the elbow and wrist to flex at the same time.07-14-2011

20100188226DEVICE CONFIGURATION MANAGER AND ABSENT CONNECTION ALERTER - A system and method for notifying a vehicle user that a particular item that is part of a predetermined group of items is missing when the user enters the vehicle. Items that a vehicle user may bring into the vehicle that may be part of the group may be in wireless communications with the vehicle by any suitable communications protocol, such as Bluetooth protocol or an RFID tag. The vehicle will identify whether there is a known group of items entering the vehicle, and if so, determine whether an item from that group of items is missing. If a missing item is detected, the vehicle can then notify the user about the missing item. Additionally, the vehicle can also tell the vehicle user where the missing item is located if the missing item is part of an ad-hoc internet group.07-29-2010
