20100011563 | Flexible Fastening Machine Tool - A flexible fastening machine tool having first and second facing pedestals is mounted on first and second pairs of rails. The pedestals are movable along the rails in a Y-axis direction. A rail base is provided and the second pair of rails is mounted on the rail base. A third pair of rails that extend in an X-axis direction are mounted to the floor, and the rail base is positioned on the third pair of rails, such that the second pedestal is movable along the third pair of rails in the X-axis direction toward and away from the first pedestal. A first movable carriage is mounted on the first pedestal and a second movable carriage is mounted on the second pedestal. A frame member is supported by the first and second carriages and the frame member holds a workpiece. The first and second carriages are independently movable toward and away from the first and second pairs of rails such that the fixture frame is capable of being raised, lowered and tilted. A C-frame is mounted on the third pair of rails and the C-frame is capable of performing tooling operations on the workpiece. | 01-21-2010 |

20100128921 | Digital Watermarking of Low Bit Rate Video - Methods for embedding digital watermarks in compressed video include perceptual adapting a digital watermark in predicted and non-predicted data based on block activity derived from the compressed video stream, embedding in predicted objects in a video stream having separately compressed video objects, and bit rate control of watermarked video. | 05-27-2010 |
20110123063 | Synchronization of Digital Watermarks - A method for synchronization of a digital watermark generates a digital watermark based on feature extraction and a key generator. The synchronization method is adapted for both temporal and spatial synchronization. Statistical features of the watermarked signal along with key generators are used to compute keys used to detect embedded digital watermarks that vary over time or space. For spatial synchronization, spatial redundancy is used to detect geometric distortion of a signal in which the watermark is embedded using an autocorrelation method to detect peaks caused by the redundancy of the watermark structure. These peaks are then analyzed with a histogram method to detect rotation and scaling of the host media signal. The spatial synchronization process is applied to watermarks for both intra-coded frames of video (I-frames) as well as still images. | 05-26-2011 |

20140017802 | METHOD TO IDENTIFY CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS USING COLORIMETRIC SPOT TESTS - A method to identify a compound of interest includes the step of subjecting a sample to a plurality of colorimetric spot tests to yield a plurality of resultant test colors. The resultant test colors are compared with reference colors to define a set of sample reference colors. Indexed reference color sets indexed for the compound of interest are provided. The indexed reference color sets are searched with one or more of the sample reference colors for a match with the set of sample reference colors. The identity of the sample as the compound of interest is then determined. A device and a system to identify compounds of interest are also disclosed. | 01-16-2014 |
