20100063385METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLING CATHETERS IN BODY LUMENS AND CAVITIES - A method of navigating a magnet-tipped distal end of an elongate medical device through the body includes providing an image display of the part of the body through which the medical device is being navigated and using the display to input the desired path of the medical device by identifying points on the desired path on the display. The magnetic field needed to orient the end of the medical device in the direction of the desired path as indicated on the display is then determined. In one embodiment where only points on the desired path are identified, the field direction is the direction indicated by the points on the desired path. In a second embodiment, where points on the current path and the desired path are identified, the desired angle of deflection is determined, and the direction of the magnetic field is set to lead this desired angle of deflection by 90° to over-torque the end of the catheter, and the intensity of the field is determined from a table of experimentally determined field intensities for given angles of deflection.03-11-2010

20080224112METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OPERATING AN IMPLEMENT FOR A MACHINE - A method and apparatus for operating an implement for a machine is provided. The machine has a body, a pump, an implement, an operator station, a first operator input device, and a second operator input device. The pump is mounted to the body and has a first operating range. The implement is mounted to the body and coupled to the pump. The operator station is positioned on the body. The first operator input device is located within the operator station and operable to control the implement over the first operating range and the second operator input device is positioned external to the operator station and operable to control the implement over a second operating range. The second operating range is less than the first operating range.09-18-2008
20110046857Implement Control System For A Machine - This disclosure relates to a control system for a machine implement. The control system includes a measurement sensor configured to provide an implement measurement signal indicative of a velocity of a machine implement, and a controller. The controller is configured to provide an implement measurement signal and an operator command signal, and to determine an adjusted implement command based signal based on the implement measurement signal and the operator command signal.02-24-2011

20120063862Method of Forming Parts on a CNC Machine - A method of forming a part from a workpiece mountable on a porous spoil-board on the worktable of a CNC machine having means for applying a negative pressure on the underside of the workpiece, providing a pressure differential across the mounted workpiece, and a cutting tool displaceable along x, y and z axes, including programming the controller of the machine to generate a cutting pattern, computing the area of the part, comparing the computed area value of the part with a predetermined area value and positioning the cutting tool along the Z-axis to provide less than a through cut of the workpiece where the computed area value is less than the predetermined area value and providing a through cut when a computed area value exceeds the predetermined area value, mounting the workpiece on the worktable, actuating the negative pressure applying means and operating the machine to execute such program.03-15-2012
